Is that the new measure of how successful a man is, how many kids he has? I guess I'm piss poor.

ha ha, I went back thinking maybe he's trying to have a child in every state....lol. He has 3 in California, 2 in Texas, 1 in Florida, 1 in North Carolina, 1 in Georgia, and 2 in Jersey. One would think with all his money he might look into getting fixed. He can always reverse it as long as it doesn't go beyond 5 yrs.

Going by the couple of mom pics, he's shooting for quantity over quality.

Look at the locations: Florida, Texas, California, Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina..at least he's spreading them out...less drama I suppose.

According to wikipedia.com, Braylon Edwards remains a free agent. It's highly doubtful that the Redskins would sign him anyhow.

His career might be trending downward as of now, but just want until Sanchize starts believing his own hype again. Then Tebow stock will be on the rise again.

Actually, that sets up quite the dynamics for a LOT of fake punts. I can see him taking the direct snap on a 4th and 2 at the Jets 40, or letting the punter lob him a soft ball on a short yardage.

Have you seen the early part of the Jets' schedule? The NY media and fans will be screaming for Tebow to take the reigns by week 5. 3 of their first 5 games are the Steelers, 49ers, and Texans...

Per Jay Glazer the Vikings have signed former Bengals WR Jerome Simpson to a 1 year contract.

In related news, Simpson was suspended for the first 3 games of the 2012 season for selling weed. So the lesson here is sell it don't use it, you'll get to play one extra game

Is Simpson on the same boat as TW and Davis as far as being an infraction away from a year's suspension?

Yeah I feel that's a bit off imo. I would punish the seller more than the user actually, that's not a good example for the community to follow and we all know how the NFL tries to promote a good wholesome family image.

Three year deal for Asante Samuel...

Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter
Atlanta has agreed to terms on a 3 yr 18.5 deal for Asante Samuel, per league source.

Anyone know the details of the trade though?

Monkeydad 04-25-2012 01:41 PM

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker (Book 3)

Late-round pick from Atlanta. Samuel takes a big paycut from his current 2 year/$21.3mil deal with Philly. New deal is 3 year/$18.5mil.

Going from $10.65mil/year to $6.17mil/year.

But they re-did his contract...I'm just surprised b/c the Iggles usually rob a team blind in their trades.

Still $6 million + per year is a lot for most teams cap-wise. I guess I'm not too surprised there wasn't more demand for Samuel's services.

If Asante = 7th rounder

then Jabar = ...?

I'm confused now. He'd probably go for nothing if this trade is the tone setter for the weekend.

Mike Shanahan now says that there's a chance that Jabar Gaffney could still be a Redskin. Asante Samuel was worth more than a 7th round draft pick. Gaffney's value would equal that of a 6th or 7th round draft pick. The Falcons basically got Samuel for almost nothing.

Uhhh good news but what the hell is Mike's deal? Why did he think there would ever be a robust market Gaffney? He's 31 and his best season ever was in our offense. If Mike never understood Gaffney is more valuable to the Redskins than he is to every other team he just....doesn't....get it.
