They should include how the schedule comes about as part of those 3 hours...but the league and other network partners would never go for that (nor would ESPN I imagine)

Him and Steve M were predicting us and the colts records for next year. Steve had the colts with 5 wins and us with 3 wins.

Its was pretty much just Warner. Mooch did the Colts. Mayock came on and blasted Warner a little later. He said we got 5 wins with Rex and a good D, said he was crazy.

I went to the 2008 Saints game with a friend. I wouldn't know how hard it is to get tix though, because I got them from a friend. I have been to multiple season openers over the years though (last year v. Giants, 2010 v. Cowboys, 2006 v. Vikings, 2004 v. Bucs) , and I can tell you that's the one time of the year when the stadium is packed (because it's the first game of the season and our hopes haven't been crushed yet), and the majority of those didn't have a massively hyped starting quarterback in them. I'd expect demand to be high for the season opener this year.

Ok, if this is true I'm completely baffled. Whenever a team has a major turnover they struggle for a year or two. They got rid of their whole upper management, HC, and planning on, I'm assuming, running a whole new scheme on offense and possibly defense as well.

We've kept just about everything, were in our 3rd yr of our scheme... meaning the players should know it better, we will have finally a top talented QB, and have added some talent and competition at key positions.

and we will only win 3 games and the Colts will win 5? OK. Whatever.

Saints tix are a tough get. They can be had through the ticket exchange but they may be expensive for good seats. It is a truly "home" field with few visiting fans.

Playing the Eagles on the 18th and then the Cowboys 4 days later is gonna be fn rough. I could see us being 4-2 out of the gates baring any key injuries during pre-season so that'd have Warner eating some crow right out the gate. Good for Mayock calling him out on that bs. But overall we need a strong start with how brutal the back end of the schedule is.

I can see us get a wildcard if RG III really pans out and we actually do draft decently. I like some of these mocks by foxsports for the later rounds. We might be able to get some nice gems defensively. Overall my faith in the FO has been restored. I freaked over what we gave up to get Robert, but if he is the real deal it is worth it.

WTF I don't see a Sunday night game!

It's a perfect schedule for our situation though like you guys said. We could be 6-2 even halfway through, on the other hand I'll say if we're worse than .500 at that point it should be a huge disappointment.

Thursday football is a terrible idea turned schedule disaster on a weekly basis. Teams having a 4 day turnaround on the road or 10 day or so break is crap.

It will be rough but the cowboys also play on the 18th against cleveland. Atleast we have philly/cowboys immediately after our bye week whereas cowboys' bye week is much earlier in their season.

Second off, it doesn't matter, because whatever sunday night football games are scheduled now can always change starting week 10 (?) with the whole flex scheduling thing.

I figure that the difference of this 2012 Redskins team will indeed be the play at quarterback. I don't expect RG3 to come in and light the NFL on fire, but then again he might just do that. I'm predicting that the Redskins will start off the season 6-2. Then they will be 5-3 or 4-4 through the second half of the season. That would leave them with a 11-5 or 10-6 record and a possible divisional title. The defense has the potential to play some good football as we saw from last season. And if the Redskins can utilize their weapons on offense, then there's no reason to think that this can't be truly a complete team. At first I predicted the Redskins would be 13-3. I'm going to give them room for error and predict an 11-5 or 10-6 2012 season.
