To whom it may concern: Please if your going to go out to a night club and have some drinks just have a friend or limo service drive you home. You young NFL players have to realize it will save you money in the long run if you just use a limo service to drive you when you have a night out on the town. Brandon made poor judgement by driving while intoxicated. When i was younger I drove home a few times after drinking at the club and was very lucky not to have been given a FST. I hope this will be a lesson learned by Brandon M. and a wakeup call to make better decisions in his life.

Wow, ok, I'm not a fan of them either but if they are pulling people over and their all sober then I could see harassment, but they pulled him over and he was DUI.... allegedly. I guess cause it's FFC we should be saying "oh poor Mariweather, any place else and it would have been ok to drive drunk."?

Not at all. This is not Boston, not Chi-Town, FFC police don't ef around. They are well supplied, well paid and take their job seriously. This is not the place to play games with sobriety becasue FFC is ready to pull that ass over.

Even if he is not convicted, he will be on the NFL radar as someone to keep an eye on with regard to "lack of good citizenship off the field".

Hate to break it to you, but Jackson is a two-time violator of the NFL substance abuse policy. If he strays off the straight and narrow, he will not be on the field for a long time...


Having said that, I would much rather see Jackson playing DB than Merriweather for one very simple reason:

I thought it was Arlington? But yeah dont f with FFC, just like state troopers theyre not pulling you over to give you a warning, youre getting a ticket and theyre going to look to see if theres anything else they can get you for.

If it was Fairfax maybe Merriweather will be lucky and get the same judge that tried ST for dui

What will the cost of his arrest be- fine/ suspended? Its hard to overlook the negative said about him when all we have to smile is about is he once was a Pro Bowler when he came into the league. Talented but a liability to show up when needed.
Wouldn't be surprised to see the team reach for a safety or CB on Saturday. Good luck with that.

What is the deal with these guys? It is like more and more of these younger guys don't appreciate the opportunity given to them, making primo mullah for playing a game. To be honest, I think that is part of it. These guys know they are way overpaid for what they do and maybe feel guilty or something to the point of doing self destructive garbage. To jeopardize your career driving drunk is just mind boggling on its own merits.

Only real decent DB left is Jenkins and he has way more issues than Meriweather.
