Nope, but when he is cut in August and placed on the practice squad what will the homers say?

That's not going to happen.

It's got nothing to do with being a homer. It's about giving a guy a chance to actually play before writing him off. What a novel concept huh?

I don't know. I mean it's not like we don't have any reason to not be cynical but then again after the success of last years draft the front office should have at least some good will and trust from the fans. Granted not a free pass but at the very least some patience until the end of camp or preseason.

And for the record I'm very happy that they got a linemen instead of another skilled position before the 7th round.

Could be worse. We could have drafted a punter in the 3rd round.
Really love that my opinion is welcome here. Why do you think so many Alabama players went early? Because they played well for a winning program. Sure, no names can become stars, but a guy that by all accounts played well for one season in a terrible program doesn't excite me with our third pick. I'm sorry. Yes, there were projections for him going in the third or fourth round, but there were equally as many for him going totally undrafted. From all the draft grades I've read this morning, the consensus was LiRibeus was a reach. That's what upset me. I thought there were starting calibre guys on the board when we picked. I'm bummed we didn't go after them and chose to get a good backup so early. I guess I'm not Warpath worthy. So, I'll save my opinions for ExtremeSkins. Sorry to waste all your time.
Your opinion is welcomed here, but if you want to come to a board where everyone has to agree with you then this isnt the place for you. I havent seen any post which where someone got nasty or attacked you personally b/c of your opinion. U must be pretty thin skinned. I personally enjoy when something comes up and Im in the minority, because it leads to good discussion. Like I said, I think we want the samething no matter who we pick.

Oh dear God NFLN has Les Miles who makes Berman look like......Jesus Christ come back to Earth. Wow. Maybe Miles can tell us more random stats about how great his program is in a painfully blatant recruiting attempt. "We've had X amount of first round picks and we graduate all of our kids.....with degrees in agriculture and underwater basket weaving."

Sorry NFLN but you've been Bermaned.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Skins trade back again a few times, if the opportunity presents itself. If I recall correctly, they were pretty active around this point last year.

I've only switched over to ESPN a handful of times, mostly when NFLN is on commercial, and each time I can't wait to switch back to NFLN.

This three day NFL Draft is crazy! The NFL needs to go back to the Draft spread over a two day weekend.

they will be in a position to do so. There are some "big names" still there that we could take but don't necessarily need. I would support it as long as they feel certain that our guy will still be there later.

I hear you but to me Les Miles has the same effect as Berman. Even worse in fact because he's trying so hard to recruit but the way he does it is so unnatural and forced that it's painful to watch.

I remember seeing him and the Stanford coach David Shaw on the set before the first round and while Shaw had some coach speak a lot of what he was saying sounded normal then good old Les interjects with random stats about how many players he's had drafted.

It was kind of felt like a guy telling you how much money he has or the size of...other things. Granted I don't mind that he's using this as a recruiting tool but my God. Stop acting like you're reading stats off a cue card.

Les Miles on recent pick: "I tell you that LaMar Miller out of Miami, his running style reminds me of LSU's Miller Hall. A wonderful experience for LSU students looking to expand their horizons. Near the Student Rec Center and the walking."
