I liked this:
Cornerback depth is a question entering training camp, which is why an undrafted rookie such as Chase Minnifield deserves our attention. I noticed two positive plays of his Thursday morning. He stayed stride-for-stride with TE Niles Paul on a route to the right sideline, and the play went to the other side of the field. Even more impressive: In goal line drills, he quickly latched on to WR Josh Morgan, who broke out of a stack. Morgan was not open crossing the back of the end zone, and the pass intended for him was overthrown. For a rookie such as Minnifield to know his assignment against a formation designed to confuse the secondary is an auspicious sign.
Me too. Great value in this guy. I hope he stays healthy. He's one of my personal favorite top 3 stories this offseason. |

Re: Redskins OTAs Continue
The Cleveland Browns were never serious about Robert Griffin III, according to a report this week. As the story goes, they viewed him as "too small" and "eager to show how fast he was."
Hey Cleveland....that 12 year old mentality only works on......??? 12 year old's..right (and in Philly) Well, I guess you have a right to be sensitive, being left at the alter.....again after LeBron ditched your ass as well.......... Does Jonathan Mara own the Browns? ...........just sayin' |
Re: Redskins OTAs Continue
Just got the Media Advisory for this week. They'll be closed Monday to media, but looks like Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday they'll be open. I'll be able to make it Tuesday, but most likely not Wednesday and Thursday.

Re: Redskins OTAs Continue
I'm surprised that Byron Westbrook wasn't re-signed this off season. He wasn't a spectacular defensive back, but he was a solid contributor and he has made plays on the ball. Too bad the Redskins weren't interested in him anymore.

when does the mini camp start

Re: Redskins OTAs Continue
This week

Re: Redskins OTAs Continue
The Graham Gano/Neil Rackers kicking duel will probably be the highlight of training camp. Rackers is pretty good and solid, but I wouldn't be surprised if Gano rises to the occasion and bests Rackers.
