I'd wager that minorities in this country have it better than 99% of whites, asians, blacks or whatever race in every other country on the planet. Its libtards like most everyone in New York that make everything an issue. People are getting too fat, so lets limit their freedoms by making it a crime to sell any coke over 16 ounces. Big government always knows best...........LOL!!! |

No, I wouldn't. My point is the analogy doesn't work. |

Agree. So how do you evaluate Morris? I mean part of me says anythig will be better than JHaz, but you still want to know what your getting... |
They're done. When they lost Revis you could tell it totally burst Ryan's bubble, and it showed against the 49ers.
At the same time, probably let's Ryan off the hook this year - he gets to blame any failures on losing Holmes and Revis. Much as I don't like the guy, those are pretty big hits to both sides of the ball. Hard to compensate for that. |

Thats actually a pretty good question. I hate to say it, but for fans, we may have to go back to his bucs days. He did take a pretty bad team and get them to a winning record. People blame him for his last year there but the bucs had something like a 60 mil payroll. They got rid of most of the good players to save money in the uncapped year to go after big names this year. Lets face it, Joe Gibbs wasnt going to win last year in Tampa as the HC. I also find it difficult to judge based on the talent level in our secondary. Its easy to look out coached when other teams just have that much more talent. Across the board, I dont believe that can be said for a fair amount of the team. But comparing other teams WR's to our secondary, I believe the talent level is not very close. Throw in that we havent generated a consistent pass rush. That makes it near impossible to actually grade the DB's coach unless you are at every practice and on the sidelines during games. |

Im still trying to figure out who decided it was racist, since it wasnt the Indians. The real racist term at that time was "Injun". 200 years ago, people called you by what the color your skin looked with the word skin after it. As much as people joke about whiteskins, thats what whites were called back then. African American/Blacks were called blackskins. Indians (both native american and from India and that part of Asia) were called redskins, and hispanics as well as chinese/japanese/korean ect were called yellowskins. One thing I have never understood. There were these people that killed Indians at will. A group of people that said beating a 5 year old Indian child to death with the stock of the shotgun was to fun to waste a bullet on them. Yet no one wants to outlaw the sports term... COWBOYS... |

I think there are many "real" racist terms out there for Native Americans. Also, are you seriously saying (or suggesting) that a team called the blackskins, with an African American person as a mascot, would not be considered racist? C'mon man! N.B. This has got to be a flame. |
Sucks ,I work just down the road .Traffic on the BW parkway (295) sucks .....and at all hours of the day and night.
terrible. what has it done to home values? i know they were building tons of town homes between 295 and arundel mills. i never understood the design of "mills" like that, one story, have to walk 6 miles to get around, wastes so much land/space. potomac mills is the same way, great job, simon. much rather go to the columbia mall, used to enjoy the laurel mall before it got cancer

N.B. This has got to be a flame.
Again, what's the purpose of a team name that's derogatory? Giants, Eagles, Titans, Saints....Wankers. Don't see the self-aggrandizement or clarion call in the last one. Good luck selling jerseys with the name on. We have this topic every year. The name stays, but if you think it's racist you should withdraw your support. |

N.B. This has got to be a flame.
If the Black Community call it racist, then so be it. But I do not have the right to decide what is racist for Black people, thats up to them what they deem derogatory to themselves. Just like you dont have the right to decide what is racist to Indians. The fact that your entire argument is based on "Indians are to stupid to think for themselves" means you are more racist to an Indian than someone saying redskin. What do you not understand about that? Just because you support the erasing of any and all Indian Heritage from the American record books says more about you than it does me. Stop claiming your blatant hatred of Indians then claim that im the one who is flaming anyone. You are the one saying that Indians are so worthless that they are not allowed to think for themselves. That YOU are the one who decides what THEY are supposed to be offended by. |

COWBOYS...
There were also slaves 200 years ago, but we've seemed to have moved on from that. Comparing Cowboys to Redskins is unfair, though i won't get into it because i already regret bringing up this subject. Bottom line is nobody "decides" what is racist, either it is or it isn't. Some African Americans don't think the N word is offensive, doesn't make it okay. I could guarantee you that if the teams original name was the Washington Blacks with a black man as the logo it would've been changed by now. I'm so over this topic. I just wanted to hypothetically entertain the thought of other possible team names. |

Sanchez is just awful. Might as well put Tebow in.

Bite your tongue! In all seriousness, a lot of this isn't Sanchez's fault but he does need to step it up. He's never been truly threatened for his job so he's been a bit complacent

Not only have they not challenged him, they rewarded him with a huge contract for sucking ass. Not only will Rex be fired at the end of this season, but Tannebum will be as well. This situation reminds me of when the Panthers extended Jake Delhomme to a huge contract right after that 6 int playoff game against Arizona. Hurney and Tannebum should both be unemployed. |
