Check these Tackles pass protection stats. Trent representing well, Polumbus is bad, but not as bad as Doug Free or ex Redskins D'Anthony Batiste. Alot of people wanted Massie and Demetrius Bell here, but they are horrible
I was one who wanted Massie here (but not Bell). Massie is a rook who has been prematurely shoved into the fire. He may still turn out to be good despite his current play.
You might be right about Smith, although there have been others with winning records that have been fired cause they couldn't get over the hump....ie; Schottenheimer and the Chargers.

But....I'll politely dissagree with you in regards to Romo. He was decent maybe the first two or three yrs but it seems to me that teams have his number and that is if you rush him or if he has to play catch up he seems to fail. It also seems to me that when he screwed up on that holding of the FG and they were knocked out of the playoffs he has not been the same.

I know a lot and I mean a lot of Dallas fans who are not happy that Romo has not been replaced and I keep hearing rumblings about how Garrett should be fired also.

and as for the Skins, I really hope that whenever MS and Co. get the formula right and we hopefully get to the SB and hopefully win one, the coaching staff will put their aspirations aside and allow the formula to work for a few yrs and give the fans a few yrs SB contending and hopefully trophies instead of taking coaching jobs elsewhere and ruining a good thing. To me it always seems like a team will go to the SB then the a DC or OC gets stolen away and the team is not as good anymore or it takes time for them to get back to the level the were playing at.

Well Snyder is willing to pay his coaches to stay and that's all one can do. It often happens that these OC and DC leave to fail and looking for work in two years. I think the key is when your winning and have a OC and DC leave you need to replace them with a coach that uses the same system.

There will be coaching changes this offseason

I'm not sure there's a better show than NFL Network's A Football Life. Week in and week out it's incredible

Do you mean coaching changes around the league? Or coaching changes on the Skins' staff?

Your not really going out on a limb there? Lol. Coaching changes where?
Edit: just saw the post above, so on the skins. Interesting. Can only be two people. How sure are you of this? While im asking questions, what the hell is going on with Garcon? Are we going to see him this year you think?

I think the 30 for 30's are as good as it gets but i havent watched a whole lot of the football life - ill have to tune in. The previews dont draw me in like they do with the 30 for 30's. something about when the guy says "what if i told you that....." - gets me every time.

The way we are rolling on offense, I would prefer for Garcon to sit out until he's 100%. Our offense will be more explosive with healthy not ailing Garcon.

I think gridiron was saying they arent the ones because we just signed. extensions with them. That means nothing though. If coaches are getting gone it has to be them.

Just can't be true since we know that it is a fact that he must have been to 3 probowls and 2 superbowls since the Skins let him go. The Lions just have no clue clearly.

Beg? No. I will say I was strongly opposed to the idea and made it known that I thought-even though I believe his dad is a knowledgeable sports guy (and it's just an accent man, crazy offensive to say he can barely speak)-people would react very negatively to the concept and not like the idea of someone having their dad on the show. I thought it would waste a good talent in Dan LeBatard.

That said though, the show has been quite successful and the camaraderie between the two popular. When I watch or listen to it, I think it's pretty solid

Ok, so my friend tries to tell me some super secret news....err possibly super secret news. lol. and yes this is one of those "my friend.....informed me" comments. lol.

He said he was at FedEx Wed. night and saw "some" players walking back to the locker room from being out on the field.

I stopped him right there and said "Uh, they practice at Redskins Park not FedEx"

To which he said "no, sometimes, but not often, the players will be at FedEx and will practice on the field". He goes on to say RG3, Morris, possibly Hankerson, and a few others (sounded like offensive players) were returning to the locker room after their practice wearing work out cloths. ...... Now here is the my friend of a friend rumor BS... he said Cooley was walking back with them from the field to the locker room in T-shirt and shorts and sneakers as if he had worked out with them.

I know not big news, but my friend seemed to believe there was something going on with Cooley being their and practicing with them. As the other players came out after their shower and changing so did Cooley in shirt and tie all dressed up.

I poo pooed it off as he's probably still friends with them and decided to practice with them, OR he was there getting info for his next spot on whatever channel he works for on the news (4 I think). But in any event I told him it was interesting that he is possibly trying to keep up with the plays for perhaps sometime in the future if he's needed.

Well, at least he went to multiple Pro Bowls and won multiple Super Bowls while he was there. If only we could develop our own players, instead of letting them dominate elsewhere.
