You trust ESPN after that RG3 Torn ACL post yesterday on twitter?
Well this was a doctor that is fully aware of the situation at this point and he is saying that the proper protocol for this injury is "atleast a few weeks". Im waiting for Smoot to tell me that guy comes on and says dumb shit all the time. Trust me. Im just relaying what i heard. |

i guess good leaders also have this, a number 1 passer rating? |
Re: RGIII= leadership
So some doctor on Espn just said RG-3 needs a few weeks atleast?
I don't know who said this. I'm guessing it was either Stephania Bell (don't you say one bad word about her!!!) or Michael Kaplan (who I don't know) I mean from what I understand the norm for this is to rest it a couple of weeks, but we're not talking the norm when we talk about Mr. Griffin Stephania said someone hacked her twitter account by the way, so maybe that's where this rogue ESPN tweet came from? |
Re: RGIII= leadership
He needs time to recover. A hyper extended knee weakens the joint, causes mass swelling and you temporarily lose some range of motion.
When it happened to me a few years after my ACL surgery playing basketball, I could not play any sports for two weeks. The NFL is a whole other level/animal. He needs at least one week off so he does not hurt himself any more. While it it not a tear of a major ligament, his knee is injured and weakened. It needs time to heal. |
Re: RGIII= leadership
I'm building a temple out of syrofoam coffe cups on my desk.
From it will emanate a healing power that will cross the country and and embed it self in RG3's knee. Aooooommmmmm................... Aooooommmmmm................... |
Re: RGIII= leadership
A grade I sprain means the ligament was stretched and maybe some slight tearing in the ligament fibers. To this point he's only had some minor swelling. Let's let the team doctors decide if he can play or not.

Re: RGIII= leadership
Believe LaCanfora is his source for that.
:laughing2 Well we all know it's bullshit if that's the case. As far as the knee sprain goes, I would not be surprised to see him sit a week or two. I think it really is going to depend on how much it hurts, swelling, and the simple ok from Dr. Andrews. I've had sprained and a tore ACL so I feel his pain. Each person and injury is different though. From Mike's perspective, he probably won't tell anybody crap until the day of. (or until he has to by rules) |
Re: RGIII= leadership
I don't think it's a question of *can* he play, but rather *should* he play.
|

It definitely was not a Stephania. Older gray haired man. |

If he can, he should. He's already saying he expects to play. In the middle of a playoff run he's gotta be out there if he can go. Plenty of other guys are banged up and nursing some sort of injury right now. That's just the way it is this time of year. |
Re: RGIII= leadership
Michael Kaplan, he said RG3's at risk to get re-inured if he goes back too soon
|
Re: RGIII= leadership
Isn't that true with any injury of any severity?
That man is a wizard. |
Re: RGIII= leadership
Well you have an injury like Garcon's where apparently playing doesn't do more damage
|
Michael Kaplan, he said RG3's at risk to get re-inured if he goes back too soon
Yeah i just googled searched him and Stephania. It was him. He was very adamant about it too. By the way I love Stephania Bell. |
Re: RGIII= leadership
Never heard of her...had to use Google.
Isn't that true with any injury of any severity?
That man is a wizard.
Actually he is an orthopedic doctor who specializes in knees and sports medicine. Aka - best qualified person including wizards to talk about the injury. Every injury is different so no that is not true for any of them. He didnt just say it once either - he repeated over and over "at least a few weeks ". It was the last thing i saw before i went to sleep - nightmarish. Hope he is overreacting but ....... |

Then you've probably never heard of The Stephania Bell *ding* or The Curse of Stephania Bell (Dun dun dun!!). Re: RGIII= leadership
This draft class was a qb goldmine (or so it would appear).
Does this count as Leadership? Sam Farmer @LATimesfarmer Pete Carroll gave his players Monday off. So, of course, Russell Wilson had all the rookies in by 9 a.m. His success is no accident. Retweeted by Albert Breer To plagiarize a popular commercial, It's only leadership if it works. |

She looks like she would be an awesome neighbor.....comes across as a real nice person. I like Her. Edit: lets get a second opinion from her! |

Make sure there is no ammonia in it. Ammonia will actually kill the prayer particles in the air and on any hard surfaces not harmed by water. |
