I have nothing against other countries having NFL teams but why would you make your franchises go abroad in this internet age?
Have a league on each continent and go from there. Actually, no. Just Asia, Europe and Africa, **** the chilly places.
How bout we keep football here and they can divy up our mls teams? |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Eagles don't look bad, and they get extra rest as well. Might have a tougher division game then was looking like 3 weeks ago.
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Yeah, none if the remaining games are easy wins. By looking at the overall record it sure looks easier than it will be for us to finish this drive to 10 wins. All of them are going to be tough games with no breaks.
Plus we were 0-6 vs rookie QBs before we beat the Eagles. As a fan I am not over confident. lol |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
I may have spoke 72 seconds to soon... lol
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Wow they scored 24 points in the 3rd? I turned it off to watch Bad Santa with my wife... lol
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Bryce Brown has fumbled 5 times in the past 4 games he's started. He won't be in the NFL for long.
Overall, they have 5 turnovers for the game. Not going to win any games like that. |
Andy Reid was headed off without even finding Lewis. Barely talked to him once Lewis caught up.
|
Quit watching the game with eagles up 13-10 and looking in control
Turned it back a few minutes later and it's 34-13 WTF!? |
I just read that the Iggles cliched last place in NFC East tonite with that loss.

Right on! So glad the Eagles were able to clinch last place last night! Couldn't happen to a "better" dream team! |
I started to post this the other day. Apparently punishing Dallas and us proves collusion. This could come back to bite Mara right in the ass.
It was most defiantly Collusion, and even if they don't return or cancel the cap hit, I am just begging that they punish that P&!@K Mara, since it is blatantly obvious that he pushed it only against his division rivals. I hope they take the full amount that all of the teams that were penalized and charge it to Mara, then he can enjoy trying to figure out how to maintain personnel with roughly 50 MIL missing from his cap. Tha Bastige! |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
As for the Iggles....
Congrats guys, it's been along time coming. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Makes me want to hug Mike Shanahan's neck for that alone! NOT in the basement of the East.....

Point, the Redskins' Dan Snyder and the Cowboys' Jerry Jones -- faced with a 29-0 vote from ownership approving the sanctions against them -- John Mara was only the chairman of the committee,he doesn't have the power to initiate cap penilties all by himself. |

He doesnt have the power to authorize and execute them without the vote of the other owners. Plus, why would an owner say no when the league was dangling extra cap space in front of them for a yes vote? Not like that could be construed as buying a vote... |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
To be fair though, Jones was also part of that committee
|
To be fair though, Jones was also part of that committee
Ehhh he was just playing nice. What was he going to do? I bet if his arch rivals werent getting penalized more than twice as much he would have put up a fight |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
I really hope the Falcons can't beat the Gmen...but they have got to be the less inspiring 11-1 team ever.

Summary of their season.
Looks like Andre Smith has lost a lot of weight. Speaking of Smith, he's our right tackle next season, no? One of the league's best offensive tackles is going to be eligible for free agency as a 26 year old this offseason because the Bengals skimped on the total value of the contract when they drafted him in 2009. |

Bad CB play ......
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
To be fair though, Jones was also part of that committee
And the decision of the committee (Crooked John Mara) was hid from Jones until it was applied, even though he was a member, wasn't it?
This makes the John "silver spoon" Mara action even more underhanded, IMO. |
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
jesus we need dallas to lose this sooooooooo bad
|
Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Okay I don't get it. How come whenever theres an interconference game the away teams network gets the coverage. Like right now Steelers @ Cowboys is on CBS? Redskins @ Browns was on Fox. You would think that Fox would be more use to filming in NFC stadiums and CBS would know their way around AFC stadiums hence it would make more sense to assign networks based on the home team. Not that its a big deal, both networks do a great job covering games, just seems a little odd to me.

Re: Around the NFL...Week 15 Style
Adrian Peterson is from a whole different cut of cloth. What a remakable story and an absolute joy to watch play the game of football. There may be a lot of people to disagree, but he is this generations Jim Brown.

Ad is MVP no doubt

I'm going to get flack for this but AP's recovery seems to good to be true. Going from a torn ACL to being withink striking distance of the all time single season rushing record? Theres a very cynical and cruel part of me that seriously wonders if he's taking HGH. I mean they don't test for it right now hence recent congressional hearings urging the league and the players union to start testing for it. Please keep in mind though this is baseless speculation on my part in which case I partly blame Lance Armstrong. |
Pittsburgh looks bad as well.
Fumble! Pittsburgh Ball! |
