Re: WTF?!? It's Mother F...ing Dallas week, Let's Go!!!
ALL of you have watched the same thing I have this season. A team that has refused to go down...even though they looked like toast going in to the bye. They could have pulled a Philly, but they didn't. They're beat up, banged up and not.....the most talented team out there.
They look deep inside and emerged from the bye a different unit. They have played with heart, spirit and determination since....never quitting, positioning themselves to do a remarkable thing, WIN THE EAST! Win, Lose or Draw, Dallas will get everything they have....... I'm....really proud of these guys ....HTTR! |
Re: WTF?!? It's Mother F...ing Dallas week, Let's Go!!!
People are mentioning how Dallas is unprepared for snow. Anyone thought about our own team playing in snow; better yet has RG3 ever played in snow??

Dallas worst game was 53 degrees. Not sure what ours is but we are definitely more used to the colder weather as a team than them. |

If the weather factors in, then it will most likely play in our favor. The entire Dallas Cowboys football team are a roster full of cupcakes who can't handle the cold weather. |

The Washington Redskins' rookie quarterback fully practiced Wednesday without any irritation from the sprained knee he suffered during a Week 14 win over the Baltimore Ravens. |
Re: WTF?!? It's Mother F...ing Dallas week, Let's Go!!!
The Cowboys defense is decimated at this point. They lost their London Fletcher (Lee), another couple LBs, Ware is ailing, Ratliff hasn't been effective this season. We should gash them for huge yards and points regardless of the weather.
The question is their offense vs our defense. They'll show up. Romo is more consistent than year's past and they have a ton of talent. If our defense shows up we'll beat them handily, but otherwise I could see a shootout well into the 4th quarter. |

Especially early in the game, when he got outside the pocket a few times, that knee looked tender to the point he was really favoring it. But given the Cowboys depleted defense I don't think RG has to be at 100% for this one. |

If Kerrigan and Riley get clear lanes to Romo then it will be a huge sack party for us. I'm expecting Haslett to dial up more blitzes in this game than any other this season. |

I think our scheme/positioning has improved pass defense and the pressure/blitzes up front help a ton too. The deep safety, usually Williams, keeps the ball in front of him more often. And how awesome is it to see our front seven collapse the pocket more than a few times a game. I still wish Haslett would dial up more safety/DB blitzes, more in line with what Pittsburgh does. |

I still wish Haslett would dial up more safety/DB blitzes, more in line with what Pittsburgh does.
We probably blitz our DB's as much as any team in the league. For example, last week Madeiu Williams had a sack and DHall was in the backfield several times. |
Re: WTF?!? It's Mother F...ing Dallas week, Let's Go!!!
I am not as confident as some with our pass defense.
We barely beat a rookie QB on a 4-10 team, and yeah, we beat another below average team with a rookie QB with Cleveland. I have heard folks singing Haslett's praises. Let's look at this realistically, the Skins are 28th in Pass Defense....that flat out sucks guys. I am seriously worried...especially since Dez Bryant didn't get selected to the pro bowl...he will be super pumped and pissed off. Somehow, we need to jam the crap out of him and roll a safety over top. Dallas knows this...they will be keying on their 2nd receiver. I don't expect a ton of blitzing to minimize big play potential. Hopefully this slows their scoring down...but that means a lower scoring game....likely in the 21-24 zone with long drives. Romo is just going to throw up tons of jump balls to Bryant...maybe we put DeAngelo on him, just because he's more likely to gamble on a pick and just risk the sucky coverage? |

It was Williams first sack of the season, and I haven't seen him blitz a whole lot before. DHall more. Compare that to Pittsburgh, especially when Troy is healthy, and they send a guy from the secondary more often than we do. I think it's the best comparison, and maybe Arizona. You're still correct though. This defense lives and dies by scheming up ways to create pressure, and since the bye blitzing has been a big part of it. We we're dead for the first half of the season. Now we're showing signs of life. |
I have tried not to watch all the ESPN shows or radio about this upcoming game, I hate all build up and hype it means nothing.
Today I watched First Take, Lomas "I didn't play every down to hurt my QB" Brown talked about how the Cowboys are better prepared for the game and Romo is going to have a big day v.s. us and they will keep the ball out of RG3 hands by controlling the clock. Then proceeded to say the cowboys toughest challenge will be stoping our running with their running back and couldn't even remember his name. This is why I have tried to stay away from these shows they just piss me off. I am no football expert, but to control clock in NFL you need to run the ball not pass 50 times a game like the cowboys. Bottom line I think all the pressure is on the Cowboys, |

Drew Pearson, the original No. 88, told KESN-FM the Cowboys need to batter the rookie Pro Bowl quarterback, even if it means crossing the border into prohibited activity, to try and get into his head. Robert Griffin III "We need to let him know that it's not going to be that easy or we're not going to lay down for them and we're not intimidated by him," Pearson said, via the Dallas Morning News. "The way you do that is you go out on that field and you knock him around. Even if it costs you a 15-yard penalty, and I'm only saying this if it's not a critical situation or anything." |

If they bring the blitz, RG will eat them alive! Plus, they best be hoping Kerrigan doesn't get to Romo again! |

Dallas/Ryan will try to copy the defense Baltimore played against us. It was pretty effective containing the outside runs by RGIII and creating sacks. Now the question is, can they stop him?

I really hope this is a blowout in our favor. I would like nothing more than the G-Men to miss the playoffs and have the Skins eliminate Dallas in spectacular fashion.
That said, I am sure it will be a classic smash mouth battle - last team with the ball wins...unless that team is Dallas ;) |
