Every year is a tough schedule.
A little tougher next year 2013 games, Home: Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers. Away: Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, Green Bay Packers and at Dallas, Philadelphia and New York. |

First off u guys need to relax on fire Mike and he's a pos. He did what he was told I'm sure and second, tough schedule next yr?? Already starting off negative, cmon guys teams will be saying they have a tough schedule when they see us on it! We freaking won the nfc east, 10 games and made the playoffs with a rookie QB, rookie RB and a no name defense. Not to mention our best WR was hurt half the yr. Tell me who else did that? Nobody. Seattle is just better right now, but russell Wilson is not RG3 and he's not even as good as luck. He's solid but he has a Loaded and I mean Loaded team around him. See me in 3 years when griff has an MVP and a super bowl ring.

Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread
We went 10-6, I thought we'd be 7-9. By tomorrow I'll be in a good state of mind about how good our team is getting (As long as the report on RGIII's knee is not bad). Now time for following mock drafts and getting up to date on nfl prospects.
It will be interesting to see who the 4 starters are in our secondary next year the 1st game of the season. |
In his rookie season, rg3 left 3 games due to injury and missed another entirely. Which gives me 2 thoughts:
1) maybe we shouldn't have drafted such an injury prone quarterback 2) cousins isn't going anywhere
Answer to point 1: Bullshit! That has to be the most ridiculous comment that I've seen on this site. RGIII is the primary reason we won 10 games. Also, he's not injury prone. He just needs to learn to slide or run out of bounds, as necessary, to preserve his health. |

**** those Seahawks, though. They are another dirty team like the Rams. They have been upgraded to Cowpoke hate. They can burn in hell. Anyway, we win this game with a healthy RG3. He probably never should have come back until he was 100%, which means he would have missed the rest of the season, but what's done is done. I think it looks worse than it actually is; Robert will be fine. He's 22, it's just a sprain as far as any of us know, and at 22 you heal in a way you can only dream about at my age. He is a gym rat with a great work ethic and will do everything he must and then some to get back to 100%. Get him some more pieces, fix the secondary, come back next year. And this year, we can actually believe in next year. They gave us an amazing season and proved we are the real deal, that we're building something good here. FFS just chill, everyone. |

He definitely needs to learn how to get down. Wilson seems to avoid hits. |

Sherman is going to get it in the end, what goes around comes around.

It was a great season better then expected. In the end RG was out of gas and it limited our ability to win this game.
BUT! The future is so bright I got wear shades!:D |

I don't blame Trent Williams for taking a swing at one of their players, that cheap shot at RGIII after the second touchdown was completely uncalled for. Anyhow we will be back next year. We get a few more pieces and have some of our injured starters back and we will take them out back behind the woodshed. |

Maybe our DB's could get some cheap shot instruction from Sherman and Browner during the offseason. |

Don't know about that, he took a few shots you don't want to see your QB taking. |

Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread
A lot of coaches, Shanny included, say the hits in pocket are even worse than those on the run. Griffin is an aggressive player and with that comes some risk. Hopefully we can tone down those risks next year.

Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread
Halftime was the time to say you know what, we can't let him be out there. It was clear he wasn't at 70 or 75%, especially on that run to the outside. If you cannot bend down to pick up a ball, you shouldn't be in the game.
I'm not going to say that's why we lost the game, but the defense held a lead until midway through the 4th. Kirk would have given us at least a chance. |
I think some people are missing the point. We are all excited about the future, we are happy with winning the NFCE, we are happy with a 7 game win streak and we don't want Shannahan fired.
We are just upset that we lost a game that we should've won. Did Griffin even complete a pass in the second half? We were still up by 1 with 8 minutes in the game even though we didn't move the ball for 2.5 quarters. Their D wasn't anything special it was just that our QB was completely inaccurate. Bad decision to allow Griffin to stay in. Anyways, we move on thinking about shoulda, coulda, woulda's. |
Don't know about that, he took a few shots you don't want to see your QB taking.
He absorbs the hits better. Griffin goes flying when he gets hit. |
Maybe our DB's could get some cheap shot instruction from Sherman and Browner during the offseason.
He's just a QB, and not a Luck or Newton size QB at that. Blow him up and make a play on the runner.

I'd chip in to pay that fine. |
Why? I didn't see a thing!
I recall Garcon getting a taunting call for that kinda stuff during a game. No doubt Sherman was jawing. Only if Trent had punched him, it would have been dirty, imo.

Ok but I thought you said he avoided them? Either way you don't want your QB taking hits in the open field like a RB. |
Re: Seahawks 24 Skins 14 post game thread
I predicted this team best case to go 9-7 and maybe be a wild card. We went 10-6, won the division, and had a home playoff game. We now have 'playoff' experience.
Go out, get healthy, sign the right guys, have a good draft..I like our chances next year THIS JUST IN RG3 "I KNOW I'm the best option for this team" What happened to modest RG3?!??!? |
Didn't know that having one injury in college is considered to be injury prone.
Sent from my GT-P5113 using Tapatalk 2
Its assenine to say we shouldnt have drafted him. The injury was for an entire season i think but it doesnt matter. He played the entire sr yr. i dont think rg-3 is more injury prone than any other qb that has ever played the game. But god dammit if i could have one do over that is football related in life it would be the decision not to put in our other highround pick at qb who has come up huge as of late when called on (with hope left in the game) who is 100 percent healthy. |
So what draft pick are we giving up to the Rams? 21st

This just in, RG3 has a sneaky ego. In a good way though like most star athletes do.

We have had key players namely Fletch and Lichty who couldn't even participate in practices for an entire week leading up to games. If every player is sat because they can't practice or function at 100% the roster would need to be 200 people. |

Agreed. This time of year a lot of guys are dinged up. Internally I'd bet nobody is upset they stuck with Griffin. I'm sure they all wanted to go down swinging with him in there. |

Yeah I may not have said it word for word, but to me and other people in the room he came off like a cocky ass guy; complete 180 from how he has been the whole season. |
