Peyton Manning with a incredible throw for a TD. Dude is amazing.
Nothing him or Tom can do that amazes me anymore. We all were lucky to see those guys in their prime

Flacco sucks so bad
Unfortunate for sure, but Lewis was acquitted, like he should have been given the evidence.

Not sure this sits really well with me, figured you would jump all over this.

She already has his memory, why the need for money over the truth?
I believe Lewis knows what happened and who did it but I don't believe Lewis had any real hand in killing them. In short I'm inclined to believe his testimony.
Lewis testified that he entered a guilty plea to a charge of obstructing justice. He admitted he lied to police and made a false statement in the hours after the fatal fight. Defense lawyers for his former co-defendants got the judge to instruct the jury that they could infer nothing against them from Lewis' guilty plea.

Lewis described a brawl with punches being thrown everywhere. He said he didn't want to get invoved because it would jeopardize his NFL career. "I tried to stop this fight", he said.
Heck Marvin Lewis went on record as saying that Ray Lewis had never even been in a fight.

Bailey is playing like a redskins corner today.

ALF reminds me of Ray Rice anyone think that's a good comparison?

That was bullshit. That "tuck fumble" was the exact same play that happened to Tom Brady in that playoff game with Oakland. I mean it looked as if I were watching a replay of it. Tom gets that call, Peyton doesn't.

I agree bad call. It is a little different then the Tom Brady fumble but still should have been an incomplete pass.

skinsfaninok 01-12-2013 07:24 PM

Ravens have really won this game, if it wasn't for the horrible special teams play it would almost be over. Manning just isn't like Brady in the post season, even this game he's played just ok.

Compare the records
9-10 Manning
16-6 Brady

No comparison

He lost control of it after the tuck, hence the fumble

There's nothing to really argue, Brady has 3 rings been to 5 superbowls and owns Manning head to head.

I hate using head to head comparisons for quarterback. To many other factors in a game to use head to head matchups. But they are both the greatest quarterbacks of this past era. Great game on tv.

Timmy Smith is a better running back than Barry Sanders.

Tom Brady was the centerpiece of teams that won superbowl. Not a fair comparison at all. Anyways, Thomas with another OT killer?

Nope. He has more super bowls therefore he's better. John Riggins too.

What I am saying is there is a difference between being the main guy and the reason your team wins a superbowl versus some one who is along for the ride. Similar to Michael Jordan vs Robert Horry.

I hope these refs don't go any further into the playoffs.

I understand what you are saying, I'm just saying you can't use super bowl rings as a decider between two players, but say it's invalid in another case of comparing two people. I'm going to let you all think about how retarded that logic is. Teams win super bowls, not players. If Brady and Manning had equal teams, you might would have a point. Fact is, they didn't. Never have. Patriots defense and Vinateri are a huge reason to that success. In fact, if it wasn't for Vinateri, you can take away 2 of those Super Bowls.

I am okay with the reception call, But the PI call is Bull. Someone has to explain to me how come the NFL has ref teams that work together 17 weeks then break them up and scramble up the teams for the playoffs.

Peyton Manning lost a lot of those playoff games due to poor play. Peyton Manning had talented offenses with potential hall of famers all around. You could argue that Peyton Manning put his teams in terrible positions for a lot of those games. In his superbowl run he threw 7 interceptions to 4 touchdowns... To me its like comparing a great post season player vs a great regular season player.

Terrible call. They got the ball back anyway because Flacco thought it was a good idea to take a sack.

I suggest you go back and look at the defenses these teams had. It makes a huge difference. I mean a HUGE difference. Peyton was going against a defense that ranked in top 5 in scoring defense while Brady was going against a shitty Colts that ranked close to last.

redskins5044 01-12-2013 08:33 PM

That looked good to me. Lol you get a couple seconds after the clock hits zero.

Great throw by Flacco and better catch by Pitta. Clutch.

49ers already starting in a hole.

If you remember their defense played very well in the playoffs. But Peyton would throw 2 or three picks. I think Peyton Manning is the greatest regular season QB ever. But when it came playoff time his defense played well and they still lost.

Well Holiday kept them in this game if they win.

That is why Peyton is considered a bad playoff QB, that was a terrible decision and a terrible throw.
