Ecstatic to hear about Cofield ready to go. I was pretty down on him the first year or two but he's proven to be a beast. We're lucky to have a monster in the middle.

I can't remember being quite so excited AND nervous about an opening game. I didn't have these nerves last year vs. New Orleans, and I think that one was a tougher match-up.

I imagine this game could go a LONG way towards putting my fears to rest that we're not a one-hit wonder. We'll see soon enough though.

BTW several folks have spoken about wanting the Giants to lose because of capgate. That is fair enough. But we all know that the creator of the idea of the cap penalty was Jeffrey Lurie, owner of the Eagles, right?
