True, there are no easy games. But there are games which are much more winnable than the Broncos in Denver.

May have to watch this titanic struggle from behind the couch. Last time I saw them play the Chargers, in San Diego, they lost 35 - 3. Utter sodding fubarfest.

Stayed in the Loews Coronado Bay, where you can enjoy a cocktail on your balcony whilst watching SEaL BUD/S get their beasting on. Good times!

All ruined by a indifferent Redskins squad.

This could be the most surreal description of watching a Skins game I have ever heard.

FD sure isn't the sharpest tool in the drawer. No wonder he's been in the doghouse.

Doesn't matter anyway, Reed is the man.

That's OK Fred Davis. Keep on snoozing while Jordan Reed signs that big multi-million dollar contract you wished you had.

No idea how we match up against SD, but this is a must win. Our only two wins so far have asterisks next to them and we're halfway through the season. Gotta put together a complete game here. Glad we're not at the bottom of the division but that will probably change if we don't start winning some games.

Because you may be able to get a compensatory pick by letting him walk in FA, depending on if we sign some or not. Also Reed has gotten up slowly several times, so might as well hold onto him just in case. Its not like we are going to get someone now to put on the roster that will make a difference.

He's too talented to just cut; if the Redskins really want to get rid of him, they need to at least get something for him. In my opinion, we need to bring him back on a one-year contract next year, if he wants to resign. It's too early to tell if Jordan Reed is the real deal and whether he'll last health-wise in the NFL. Keeping Davis would give us a good backup, and perhaps he would start caring more about playing and we would get two great TEs. The biggest reason I don't want Davis on another team: if he signs somewhere else, he'll immediately start putting up All-Pro numbers.

ehhhh, didnt we do that this season with FD? All he had to do was beat out a rookie and keep his nose clean. If he wants out, try to get a 4th for him somewhere, if not, the compensatory pick will have to do. Reed and Paulsen are just fine in 2 TE sets.

Yes, but this is Davis' first season back from a major injury. I agree that Paulsen and Reed are fine, but Davis is much more talented than Paulsen. He's not a necessity, but he could be a big asset.

It seemed like he made every tackle through a whole stretch of the game.

Does anybody think Rambo should get the start over Merriweather at this point? I'm leaning that way. The season is about scouting/developing our young talent. Not even sure I want Merriweather on the roster next year...

If this leads to better things, it would be huge for the Skins. I kinda get tired of all the pieces talking about how so and so learned from terrible execution or benchings. But if Rambo can earn his spot back, that would be great.

If Davis knows where to line up and knows what route to run then who cares if he falls asleep in a meeting? Is he the only player in the history of the league to do it? Pretty stupid for him to say it lol. Our offense can't sustain drives or score points and wr's can't catch. Get him on the field.

Not sure it sends the best message about work ethic to the team to play a guy who not only nods off in meetings but admits it. Who knows what other areas he's slacking off in too that we haven't heard about.

That would take us playing sound football for the 1st time all year and ignite being on fire.
Cowboys would still likely to have won 2 more and be at 6-5 probably to finish 9-7.
We have a lot of ground to cover and the hole we dug isn't attributed to injuries at the safety position which essentially is the only area where we aren't healthy.
In other words, we've sucked this far with virtually no injuries, how are we going to win down the stretch, if we are out coached/ outplayed on the field?

Robert has shown the only way he can carry a team is with his legs, we need him to do it with his arm.

It's amazing to me he averages more than a yard per carry more than Marshawn Lynch. Thats a guy who I compare him too power-wise.

Look at this offense, why does he only have 108 attempts? I look at the schedule ahead, this is the easiest part of it. We gotta get Alf more work.

I dont really know why Shanny would feel compelled to play a guy who comes out to the press and says i really dont give a shit.

Does anybody know about the Homecoming guests this Sunday?
The parking lot opens at 9am, the parade starts at 10:15, the Gates open at 11am.

Does anybody know how early the Hall of Fame store opens ?

Trying to decide if I should take advantage of the AAA entry to the fanzone for $25?

The way the thread read I thought we were playing in San Diego. Crusty's tip of the week brought to you in part by Bud Light. Home team always comes second when listed so you know where the game is. For example a few key games Sunday will be Cowboys/ Vikings and San Diego v. Washington. Thanks Ill be here all week. HTTR Skins by a fg.

I see Pryor at the top of the list, thank God he didnt play against us.On both those td runs he had last week against the steelers his explosiveness was unbelievable,I'm not sure RG3 even had that kind of explosiveness last yr.

Did anybody see this article? I think I saw a link to it in the Washington Post
Story Time with the Original Hogs - Hogs Haven

Mark May was asked about the current teams struggles,he says a lot of it is attitude.Seems like a lot of ex redskins talk about how sorry the attitude is around the Redskins,I dont know if its sour grapes or its true.I know something is not right, something needs to be done to change the culture around redskin park,I dont know if a new coach can do that or not. This is what he said:

I think we just need an adjustment in attitude... Some of the things that they're doing are just unacceptable. You're not breaking down the ball defensively, you're not closing until the end, you're not giving 100 percent. You can tackle a guy on the five instead of giving up on the ten and letting him go score a touchdown. Under Richie Petitbon, you wouldn't be in the game.

And the way I see some of their linemen, whey they block, they give up the end of the play instead of running down the field and helping out the running back or wide receiver another eight or ten yards down the field. Picking off bodies in the pile ‘cause they've got eight, nine defenders knocking your running back around. Get somebody. It's just an attitude that they just don't have anymore.

Maybe it's just me being old and the game has changed, but we had the attitude that we protected one another and we did not give up on a play. And come heck or high water, you're gonna have to drag us off the field if you're going to beat us. You better be playing your best to beat us because we're not giving up. And I just got frustrated just watching the carelessness of their attitudes out there. Maybe I'm just from a different era because when we played, we didn't have that. Because we'd pull for one another.

And the thing is, if you were a dog, we knew before the coaches would. If they drafted a dog or signed one, we knew. And we got rid of him. Because we went out in practice and kicked your butt and proved to the coaches that you didn't belong. And they just need to have that attitude.
