well, since coaches love to compare football games to war (which makes no sense... at all), I'd just like to point out that when this happens in the military, people get demoted or fired.

In fairness, that would happen in most work places where an employee is harassing or interfering with another employee's ability to perform.

I mean, as usual, it is a balancing, on one hand "C'mon man, suck it up - he's just messing with you" v. "Dude, that's way over the top." It's sounds to me like Incognito & company entered into the "Dude - not cool man, not cool" zone. Also, this is apparently something that has been going on for some time.

Wow. So big news for the Broncos. Of course, first of all I wish John Fox total health. But now a huge opportunity for Jack Del Rio

Jets with the big win against a playoff team like the Saints. Carolina destroys Atlanta. And a big f*ck you to Minny for not pulling the win.

400 yards, 7 td's, 158.3 passer rating, hopefully he gets all of the good out of the way this game so he can go back to sucking in the rest.

Wasn't Oakland's D supposed to be solid or is Philly just absolutely lighting them up?

So much for Oakland turn it around...who was sucking up to them in here the other day?

Re: Around the NFL Week 9

Chip Kelly is messing with the football gods keeping Foles in there with this big lead. The game is secured, give the backups some pt.

skinsfaninok 11-03-2013 06:39 PM

Gotta give major credit to foles

Re: Around the NFL Week 9

Carolina is looking pretty good, yeah, but I don't see them making the playoffs. They're basically competing with the Lions for the Wildcard spot and we have the easier remaining schedule by far.
So much for Oakland turn it around...who was sucking up to them in here the other day?
Is it just me or does Oakland always have one game like this every year where they're totally unprepared to play and some clipboard stand gets a career day?

skinsfaninok 11-03-2013 06:50 PM

Cats won't make playoffs because eventually theyll.play some good teams

They have to play San Fran next, and then New England right after... Not to mention they have to play New Orleans twice.

They have to win at least two of those games in my opinion to make the playoffs, and win all their other games.

Russ is asked to do more and is more clutch than smith.

Eh.. idk Smith has won a bunch in a row and has taken his team to a NFC title game. I'd still take rw but js

Russell Wilson to me is very similar to Tom Brady early in his career.

They both just find ways to win games, they might not have great stats but when you need that play, there is no one you would trust more to make it.

So with Foles performance today, do you think this is the end of Vick as eagles QB? I think Foles is their long time answer. He has had a few bad games, but he's been decent overall and has looked pretty good running the offense...

I'm sure Chip Kelly will insist on keeping Vick.

Alex Smith was the number one pick in the draft, Wilson was the 75th.

skinsfaninok 11-03-2013 07:28 PM

True but they both put up about the same numbers. Wilson is slightly better though

Yeah they do which makes one an under achiever and another an over achiever. I agree about Wilson being slightly better. Maybe a little more than slightly better.
