Re: The Special Teams Problem
Philly just scored off their special teams again. Frustrating to see a division rival "get in"

Re: The Special Teams Problem
I still want Matt Prater.

Wished that they did not have to cut Zach Hocker as that was a huge mistake to cut him!

I don't think you want Hocker either. If we had kept him, the kickoff situation would probably be better, but then we wouldn't have a reliable field goal kicker like Forbath. Hocker's career field goal percentage in college was 77.2. In his junior year, he was 11 for 18. Yeah. Meanwhile Forbath is at 86.7% for his career and is 4-5 this year. Likely, keeping Hocker over Forbath would have fixed one problem but created another. |

That missed 33 yarder against Philly made me put him in the fu*k him group. He is gonna have to earn his way out of that, like I said I would want Matt Prater over him. |
Re: The Special Teams Problem
where did gtripp go?
id like to read some of his analysis re this season |
Re: The Special Teams Problem
I think we should rename this thread "The Team Problem." Solution A: Burn it down. Alternative, less criminal solution B: DS sells the team, new owner gives team a new name, new colors, new coaches, new FO, new everything. Only then can we rid the team of this curse.

I am starting to think this is a great idea. Heather O'rourke would tell you (if she could) don't mess with Indians. |

Snyder is not going to sell the team any time soon.

His ownership has sucked and many of us wish he would sell the team... but its never going to happen. |

Don't think I could ever do that but I can't shake this feeling we're going to be the NFC's version of the Browns for the next few decades. |

At least we're not the Raiders.. At least we're not the Raiders... |

who is the youngest owner to win a super bowl?
and how old were they? |
Re: The Special Teams Problem
At least we're not the Raiders.. At least we're not the Raiders...
What's funny is that we fans delude ourselves, as does the FO, that the Redskins are relevant. But for the glimmer of hope from the 1st place finish that RG3 helped deliver his rookie year, 2014 will be the 6th last place finish for the Redskins in the last 7 years. The Redskins are tied for the worst record in the NFL since the playoff loss to Seattle, going 4-17 since. That is the stuff of bottom feeders. We may not be the Raiders, but we are among that echelon of teams. Facts are facts.

Steve Bisciotti was 52 or so. Jerry Jones I think around the same age. |
