Re: Dallas Week
I'll never predict a loss to Dallas. That's treasonous. Even if I thought we'd get bent over I'd say we'll win.
But I honestly think we'll win anyway.
True Skins fan! Seriously, predicting Dallas to win is like saying you hope China nukes us and takes over the world. Don't be traitors. Sure, we really could lose, but you don't say it out loud. I have been watching the Redskins since 1976, and can now officially say I have seen The Good, the Bad, .....and the UGLY.
I hate to pick against us, especially Dallas week, but this is thee worst team I have ever had the displeasure of watching. |
Re: Dallas Week
The league and the refs will not allow the precious week 17 showdown to go down. Odds are we play well but ultimately get screwed as hell.

Re: Dallas Week
NFL is a huge corporation that is on its way in becoming the WWE. More drama than good football being played. They change the rules to get scoring up in an attempt to jazz a rather boring product up. They even mess with a Super Bowl so sponsors don't get jilted out of folks watching their million dollar commercials by shutting the power down to avoid an 80's style blowout. The sad thing is it is rather pathetic. Shanny said this, RG III says that, now daddy is getting involved. There is more drama than with the Kardashian sluts!!!!!
Chaos or not we'll beat Dallas. Romo's big contract hasn't changed him, he's still a December choker.
We win 27-20. Shame on any Redskins "fan" predicting Dallas to win, no matter how bad things are. They're public enemy #1 around here, or SHOULD BE.<snip>
Ehhh...I don't think predicting a Dallas win makes you less of a Redskins fan. If you expect Dallas to win, then that's that. No true Redskins fan is hoping for a Cowboys' win. Dallas wins, 38-27. |
Re: Dallas Week
this is our SB and I know our team is going to treat this game that way. I dont care who the QB is we are going to burn the cowboys down!!!! HTTR!!!
Cowboys win 33-24.
I'm more interested in what the leak of the week will be prior to kickoff.
LOL. "An inside source says....the real reason for this teams bad year hangs on the Chef's hat at Redskins Park." "The insider says the real reason for all the losses is because the team switched from Reebock to Nike in the off season and the players are just "Doing it". " "Our insider tells us the Footballs the team uses has less air in them then the balls used during the games and because of this the team is having a hard time adjusting." |
Anyone know what the major player announcement is today in dc? Im guessing fletch will retire

Re: Dallas Week
I'll play along though.....
Redskins 31 Dallas 28 Skins win. More QB drama and controversy. Some new rumor. More crying fans wanting MS fired. |

Re: Dallas Week
Well, if it hadn't been for Dwayne Harris, we probably would have beat Dallas the first time around. But he won't be playing Sunday. That, along with Sean Lee being out, gives me a bit of hope.

Yeah, I'm sure Dunbar and Beasley, or whoever their returners will be, will have plenty of success against our amazingly special special teams. But at least it won't be that little bastard who burned us last time. |

Folks forget that our last game was really only on special teams. We out gained them something like 433 to 216, and still managed to lose badly. This time, different story. I predict a big win for us, causing at least a few folks to reconsider the ether to fire Shanahan. I predict:
Skins 45 Pukes 17 Cousins 335 yards, 3 td, 1 int Morris 202 yards, 2 td Garçon, 11 catches for 155 yards, 2 td Robinson, 7 catches for 90 yards Davis with his 2nd td in as many weeks London plays an emotional game, ends with 1 sack, 1 forced fumble Kerrigan, Riley, and Orakpo agree before the game to make this a tribute to London, Kerrigan and Orakpo each with 1.5 sacks, Riley with a pick Dominating performance all around. Then we win next week, finishing 5-11 and raising questions about the fact that our last 3 games involved 2 wins and a near win, and therefore what to do with Cousins. That will tide us over all through the off season. (Of course, I could be wrong). |
After watching that video, I was struck by the fact that 3/4 of the hits would probably be called a penalty today. Of course, I don't regret any one of them.
