There's no way we are trading Cousins this year unless there's a 2nd or 3rd round pick involved from next years draft. Just not worth it at all at this point otherwise.
IF KC survives the Colt competition?

Moss will win competition, KC won't.

Is it just me or do the Redskins not want the worst special teams in history anymore.

Maybe we took best athlete.
This guy could beat out Hankerson, nothing wrong with culling the herd.

Moss and Hankerson def in trouble, gotta stay healthy, gotta not drop balls.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

Robinson, Hank, and Moss are the obvious candidates. Include Williams and Gettis as well (picked up Gettis in Madden though and he was solid lol )

CB - guys on bubble I would think would be Biggers, Crawfird, and Minniefield. Porter, Amerson, and Hall are all safe barring something stupid from one of them.

S- we have bodies at S now as well with Thomas, Merriweather, Rambo (blah), Clarke, Jackson, Gumbs, and another guy we added.

He had some good/great stats the last two years breaking 1000 in each season. Decent TD numbers, not a big time speed guy, but could develop into a really nice possession receiver a la Monk. Also can make an impact as a gunner on teams. He has talent to work with for sure.

Looks like we get another pick at a potential camp fodder. Then again, some big gems have been hit in late rounds. It's all a crapshoot anyways.

Don't you never ever ever ever ever ever disrespect Santana Moss. We are the racial slurs not the Carolina Kitty Cats.

Could be the next Alfred Morris worse case practice squad competition. Having the right people on the practice squad is true depth.

Usually most picks don't matter after 6-7th round anyway, with very rare exceptions we all know about. But if your hit rate on 6-7th rounders is 10-20%, it makes sense that if you took more of them, the chances would go up that one of them works out..

Re: 2014 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

Like Seastrunk. Seems like we're going after Baylor players again, RG3 may know him from 2011. 4.37-4.46 speed is decent, averaged 7.6yds.

Doesn't seem to be a receiver out of the backfield however (only 9 catches in past 2 years), and I thought that's what we wanted/needed. Guess CThompson still has a chance to earn his keep..
Lache Seastrunk, RB, Baylor, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

STRENGTHS WEAKNESSES

STRENGTHS: Runs light and quick with active, fluid footwork to easily change directions...balanced with a low center of gravity and will lower his pads to barrel into defenders - runs close to the ground and finishes with toughness...explosive lateral burst to juke defenders and quickly redirect his momentum with strong cuts...very slippery and silky runner between the tackles to avoid contact...terrific acceleration and top-end speed to run away from defenders, flashing a second gear in the open field...good football character and attitude.

WEAKNESSES: Very average frame, bulk and trunk - lacks the body type to pack on a lot of muscle...needs to improve his vision and do a better job in space to set up his moves and burst to daylight - needs to improve his run instincts to get north-south quicker...not going to drag tacklers or win with power, struggling to keep his feet after big hits...streaky focus and will hear footsteps, too worried about what's going on around him at the catch point - unproven receiver (only nine career catches, none in 2013)...room to improve his ball security and grip.

His blocking needs work in pass protection, often lowering his helmet and losing sight of his target...missed parts of the last two seasons due to injuries, including a gimpy ankle in 2013 that caused him to miss two games - how long will his body be able to hold up in the NFL?

--Dane Brugler

PLAYER OVERVIEW

A top RB recruit out of high school in Texas, Seastrunk took his game to the West Coast and enrolled at Oregon, but that didn't last long as he transferred to Baylor after only one year (redshirted) in Eugene due to family reasons.
After sitting out the 2011 season, Seastrunk led Baylor in rushing yards the past two seasons, averaging 7.6 yards per carry in college. He is an electric athlete with lightning feet and change of direction skills, but he needs to keep his momentum under control and improve his questionable run instincts. Seastrunk has a bad habit of going east-west and bouncing runs outside, but that's also a product of the offense at Baylor. He is a jitterbug ballcarrier who will impress with his foot quickness, but he needs to improve in several areas before he's NFL ready, including as a receiver and blocker.

Seastrunk will likely still be on the board on day three of the draft due to the fact that he'll likely need limited touches each game to avoid injuries - if he couldn't stay healthy in two seasons in the Big 12, how will he be able to stay durable in the NFL?

I like the chances of a guy who ran a 4.37 40 making the team, and contributing

hahaha Giants thought they drafted the best back in the draft. Nahh..... Seastrunk is the best back look at his accolades and watch his shiftiness. He is more agile than Shady. How did that happen?

I just like his last name. Seastrunk. Crazy last name. Me thinks a lot of defenders are going to get to think about that as they chase him as "da trunk" takes it to the house! ;)

That's what I call value. We got our kick returner and change of paced back. And on top of that he is a fool wit it.
