Let me get this straight, so teddy bridgewater and Carr were available in the draft and they took Manziel? Wow, very Browns of them. Wonder who made that dumbshit call |
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Well it was only one game but yeah he looked horrible today. Teddy is decent nothing great and carr is About the same
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Carr has looked the best in my opinion.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Omg terrible roughing the passer by hochili in the Seattle vs 49ers.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Carr and Bridgewater have struggled but will improve. They may end up being good choices. Not Manziel, who is Tebow Jr. in terms of an all hype, go nowhere career.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
These nfl refs and this goodel run league has made the game terrible.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Bortles is going through some growing pains, but he seems the most "legit" to me out of all the rookie QBs. Good mechanics, good awareness.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
The Colin kaepernick days may be over in SF, dude is just not a good passer which I've been saying for 3 years now, I knew once the league caught up to the read option he would suck. Sadly looks like rg3 may be in the same boat. Russell Wilson is decent but he'll start fading also when they don't have lynch and that D anymore.

Re: Around the nfl week 15
Brady and Co. Have now won 11 division titles in 12 years wow
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Dallas looks great, sad that I'd rather watch them than us
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
i'm shocked that Philly is getting their asses handed to them at home against Dallas. 21-0 and Philly doesn't have a single first down yet - yikes!

Re: Around the nfl week 15
Haha what a crazy game

Both of these bad calls lead to TD. Hochuli should be suspended and that was a game changer and ended the season for San Fran. |

The Bears look worse than us and gruden is killing cutler. Killing him

Well danny boy wanted him here over Jay. |
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Chicago Bears, the definition of a team that has quit
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Jay Cutler is terrible. Another guy with the skill set, but can't figure out how to get the job done in the NFL.

Yup, Trestman MUST go, he's lost the locker room. |

I think the giants quit we suck so bad that they won but honestly we have a much brighter future than those scrubs

Re: Around the nfl week 15
Wow they benched Cutler. Are the Bears going to eat that contract? I mean the Skins have problems, but they don't have the NFL's most expensive bench warmer.

Doesn't matter. As long as they continue to trot out Jay Cutler at QB, they'll continue to be a complete mess. Still can't believe they signed that fool to a 120+ million contract. Dumbasses. |
Could a Griffin <> Cutler trade be on the back burner?
:smashfreak:
Rather see Griffin for Kyle Long. |
Re: Around the nfl week 15
If we were to trade for Cutler, we would HAVE to put Deangelo Hall in at WR. Cutler can't help but get the ball to him.

That's a Jimmy Haslem pick no doubt. He's just the kind of dumbass that would do something like that. On that note, it's going to be entertaining watching that kid burn under the magnifying glass. |
Re: Around the nfl week 15
IMO there is a decent chance that Cutler will be our starter next September. I'm not rooting for this, just sayin'.

Re: Around the nfl week 15
Cutler our starting qb - God I hope not. He is an interception machine
|
Re: Around the nfl week 15
Just goes to show you that it takes a lot more than pure talent to be a great QB. Cutler has the big time arm and weapons, but can't get over the hump. Wouldn't surprise me if Mike Shanahan is the next coach of Chicago.

I.....Could see Shanny going there....and the Cutler connection would work as well if they keep him....hmmmm |
Re: Around the nfl week 15
If the bears are truly getting rid of Trestman, I think they keep Cutler. But I would not be opposed to Cutler->Griffin trade. Perhaps change of scenery would be good for both. Cutler is 31 with a big contract, so that could mean only a few more years but it could make us competitive and allow us to continue to develop Cousins (?) or draft another developmental QB. Cutler would have DJax, maybe Garcon if he's here, a decent RB, good TE...
Many issues with Cutler, as he's not playing well. But one issue is our protection. This link and this link suggests he holds the ball too long (~2.8 sec)-- and would get killed with our protection. Biggest -> I don't see Cutler causing much media controversy recently, and not tweeting or arguing with fans on facebook. However, I also don't see him as a strong locker room guy / leader. |
