I really don't understand why Reed and Paul aren't just split out as receivers or try to cut block the defender. They whiff on so many blocks. Paulson is good in the run but we give up a lot with him in the game. Defenses often ignore him.
Reed just needs to be moved to receiver. Don't call him a tight end and ask him to block, because he can't. |

Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
Gruden doesn't know what the run means! A lot of will disagree with me but he really needs to go not because of the record, because he fails to adapt to his players strengths and the team is not prepared when they play.....
Lol... My quiet problem with Jay this year has been his unwillingness to run Alfmo...not all the time, but Alfmo has been lost sometimes in the game plan. I look at this game and I say we have an opportunity on the ground unlike last week. Far too much talk about the qb play this year, when we should have been looking at better ways to get Alfmo involved. My feeling is we should really actually win this game, but if Jay is gonna sit there and call 5 yard outs with colt, we ain't winning. I really want to see more passion from the team and I want to see much better execution in the 1st quarter, no more of this sluggish shit in the first half
|

Simmons' Take
If you get past the sensational header, the article cites a multitude of ways fans are coping with this team. Most of the content is based around fan letters and shows how team loyalty is not some static, all or nothing concept. Towards the end, Simmons even talks about how he's gone against a few of his own "20 Rules for Being a Fan" once he moved out of Boston and had kids. I also didn't know David Chang is a fan and that he wanted to kickstart a fund to buy the team. |

I'm not crazy about any team other than Skins, just will be a football fan. The Redskins haven't existed since 2007. Seven years ago. Doesn't matter what house cleaning is done in the FO. They can get rid of Allen, Gruden, Haslet, McVay, all the assistants, scouts and directors..... as long as Snyder is at the top, it doesn't matter. |

I sick of this bullshit, every year it's soemthing new in the world of constant disfunction. I mean honest to God, did anyone this ultimate failure of this team this year? Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
I think the Redskins are going to win. Sometimes when there is nothing to lose players loosen up. I want some run to set up the play action. I want the DB's to up their game after being called out publicly. Skins over Giants 24-17.

Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
Here is a tidbit from Rich Tandler:
"The Redskins have been outscored in every quarter this this season. Their best is the third, where opponents have a 72-61 edge, a margin of minus-11. But they then follow it up with a minus-40 in the fourth quarter with a 103-63 deficit. Washington is minus-22 in the first quarter (55-33) and minus-32 in the second (116-84)." No wonder there seems to be no let up in the misery during a game. |
Re: Skins vs Giants Pre Game Thread
As bad as the Giants are, they're better than we are and they'll win this game easily.

Gruden wants out, it's the best explanation for how bad his preparation, gameday decisions and public comments have been.

The Redskins offense was an irresistible force and the Giants defense was an unmovable object. There were also epic individual battles within the games such as Harry Carson versus John Riggins and Lawrence Taylor versus Joe Jacoby. There was a stretch of years when one of those teams was probably going to the Super Bowl and, if neither of them did, the Cowboys might. The NFC East was beastly and division games were always a very big deal. |

I walked down to fells point saturday afternoon hoping to get some extra crispy old bay wings with a side of hot sauce but they had the ugly Holiday Sweeter bar crawl and it was a bunch of drunk broskis .. so i walked back to my place and stopped at the taco truck on the side of the road adn ordered a tongue taco, beef gordita and a chicken gordita.
the tongue taco was awesome. i couldnt tell which gordita was beef or chicken bc they both looked like pale white fatty meat. i ate them but those gorditas were brutal. mushy but congulated fat? how is that even possible? in short, do not get the gorditas from the taco truck on the 500 block of s broadway but def get the tongue taco. |

MY wife and her sisters have announced that we are having a lot of "fancy appetizers" for Xmas dinner (the main course) this year.
My WTF meter almost broke when I heard that. |
