After Raiola's stunt with the Pats earlier this year, the NFL is definitely gonna come down on him hard for that. Ain't no room for that shit in the game. |
Re: Around the nfl week 16
Amazing that a 7 win team will win the NFC South. Possibly even a 6 win Panthers.

I've believed for a while that any division that fails to produce at least one 9-7 team should have their automatic qualifier revoked. Of course while we're on the subject of pathetic playoff teams: What 8-8 NFL teams have made the playoffs
1990 New Orleans Saints: Lost 16-6 to Chicago in wild card game 1991 New York Jets : Lost 17-10 to Houston in wild card game 1999 Dallas Cowboys : Lost 27-10 to Minnesota in wild card game 1999 Detroit Lions : Lost 27-13 to Washington in wild card game 2004 Minnesota Vikings: Beat Green Bay 31-17 (lost 27-14 to Philadelphia in divisional round) 2004 St. Louis: Beat Seattle 27-20 (lost 47-17 to Atlanta in divisional round) 2005 New York Giants : Lost to Carolina 23-0 in wild card game 2008 San Diego Chargers : Beat Indianapolis 23-17 (lost 35-24 to Pittsburgh in divisional round) 2011 Denver Broncos : Won AFC West (three-way tie) Beat Pittsburgh 29-23 OT (lost to New England 45-10 in divisional round)

Report: 49ers will part ways with Harbaugh shortly after season | CSN Bay Area
Thats the risk of being a hard liner. If you insist on doing things a certain way and leave little room for flexibility it had better work......think we can convince him to come to DC instead of Michigan? |
Re: Around the nfl week 16
Arizona isn't going to do jack squat in the playoffs with their QB situation. Terrible luck they have in that respect.
What a dirty POS!! It's time to shut this asshole down for 8 games minimum. If he's still employed at the end of the week, it would speak volumes for the Lions front office as well. |
Re: Around the nfl week 16
Marshawn Lynch is incredible.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 16
And on the opposite end of Raiola is Menelik Watson, a Raider who has gained a new fan in me. What a great thing this guy did, he's an awesome human being.

Beastmode, just a way of life boss. That run last night for his second td is just amazing. |

This morning I got to hear how bad the Ravens offensive line is. Nothing like a little Monday chuckle to start your work week.

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Seattle started 3-3 and now they are the hottest team in the NFL. Wilson put on a clinic last night too. Dont see anybody winning up there in the playoffs.

Wilson was flat out ridiculous last night. |
Re: Around the nfl week 16
And people still think Wilson's is an ok QB. The guy has no name receivers, he's a smart, athletic guy. Oh yeah, he also had two backup OL's starting. RGIII should hangout with him during the off season.

Wilson is a very good QB, but you don't need star receivers when you have that running game (which includes Wilson) and a defense that has allowed an average of 6.6 points per game in their last 5 wins. |

i say NO to lynch. way too much of a distraction and dividing force. he pushes back against any obligation an NFL player has outside of the actual game itself. i get it to a degree, you are ultimately paid to play football and not be part of a horse n pony show ..... but that is a distraction and divisive. seems like some teammates love him and follow him like some locker room prophet standing up against the powers that be (media obligations, talking to a coach, visiting the white house, holding out ..) but this is the last locker room that could handle that additional "question authority" mentality. besides, we dont need to spend any extra cap on RB. plus the dude has extension for his fake "dreads". im sorry but i have it under good authority that one of the points of growing dreads is pride that it takes a long time and it is a commitment .. it is something earned, not something to be bought. the dude comes off as a fake to me. basically a bama. |

Yeah, Beastmode had been jawing with the Cards defense all night. If you watched after the 1st TD run, he basically carried the entire DLine on into the endzone and Arizona was I guess mad and embarressed so they started going at it. He had his helmet off, staring down the Cards sideline with his Deebo eye, yelling stuff. You dont want to piss that dude off, after that run was like eff it: Deez nutz! |
Re: Around the nfl week 16
Per Shefter:
Jets owner Woody Johnson is preparing to hire former Texans and Redskins GM Charley Casserly as a consultant in the event the organization decides to make any changes, per league sources. The jobs of Jets head coach Rex Ryan and John Idzik both are very much in jeopardy and, should the Jets make any changes, Johnson would be ready to move forward with the football expertise and manpower he would need surrounding him. |

Re: Around the nfl week 16
I heard the Ravens are on the bubble for making to the playoffs.
I really hope whatever teams that need to win to eliminate them from the playoffs, win. I love Ravens tears. |
Re: Around the nfl week 16
Still don't think Denver's defense is good enough to win it all. They are 3rd in yardage allowed, but 12th in ppg allowed.
|
Re: Around the nfl week 16
Denver is plenty good enough to win the Super Bowl. You don't have to have an outstanding defense.

He should be fine helping the Jets as a general advisor. But, yeah, I wouldn't want him as GM because he's been out too long. |

Based on what I have seen recently... I am more concerned about that offense and Peyton Manning. |

Peyton played a shitty game tonight no doubt. Interesting to hear them talk about the OL not giving PM time on the long stuff, and I remember Montgomery is on their line now....lol |

Re: Around the nfl week 16
Something aint right in Denver, wrong time of the year for them to be having problem.
They got zero excuses this year |
