This has personal conduct policy written all over it.
Teams always have fights and scuffles. It would be the first time they've done something like this. Generally teams deal with it internally. It'll be interesting if they do anything.
I would have to think that maybe the guy who punched Geno is probably done in the NFL, talented or not. It was on a story earlier today that he was arrested also during college for punching an off-duty police officer - probably the only thing that kept him from going to jail. I guess NFL teams are never going to learn. They keep signing these players who are criminals / have legal issues, etc... Hard to see another team signing that guy after that although I could be wrong..
Over $600 at that. |

They said it BEST on the NFL network. If you put your hands in a man's face be ready to put your hands up right or wrong.

Geno is certainly to share in some of the blame. History of hot head, immature and questionable leadership skills. Not being able to resolve a simple conflict is just pathetic as a supposed leader on the team. I really can't believe it as something as simple as 600 cash. Bottom line, is same ole jets |

@incarceratedbob Bart Scott on @GenoSmith7 "no one in the locker respects him" he's done with Jets lets look at trade options before camp breaks I happen to agree with Bart. The fact some 6th round pick is slugging the starting QB shows that he doesn't have much respect in that locker room. His leadership void has been showing since draft night when he initially told people he wasn't coming back for day 2 after he failed to get drafted on the first night. |
Re: NFL Training Camp thread!
And I remember where many thought Geno was the second coming of Jesus Christ. Just another overhyped college QB.

You can't make this shit up....lol
@RapSheet Source: IK Enemkpali was claimed by the #Bills. For real. #Rex Imagine if the Bills or Jets had been on Hard Knocks. |

Not sure why the Jets are even messing around with Geno Smith. He just doesn't seem like a guy that's a 16 game starter. I think at some point they're going to give Petty a shot.

Denver making Seattle OL look terrible. But then again Seattle's OL might be terrible.

Eli just believes he is the best QB in the league. |
Re: NFL Training Camp thread!
i really hope he gets paid more than aaron rodgers. that would be great news for us.
|
Re: NFL Training Camp thread!
The tag for Eli would be around $25M next year, so he clearly has some leverage. Of course he's not going to end up the highest paid.

the guy who kinda sucker punched Dez Bryant when Dez had his helmet off should get 4-6 game suspension. the guy is probably a camp body. also this just in - Jeff Fisher is kind of a scum bag. his teams just seem to go beyond the line more than any other. i know the skins and texans just had their "brawls" and the skins were the slight aggressors .. the rams players were downright over top here. |

Cowboys come across as faux tough
Nor do I. I really hope Breeland shuts him down again this year. Dez is a great receiver, but he's a douche. Think Callahan is going to have our O-line ready for those games? Seriously, it's going to be great. Smashmouth is back. Just ask Dez. |

Cowboys come across as faux tough
after reading into more it does seem like the boys were agitators. apparently they hit a guy w a yellow helmet which means dont hit him .. can we agree that Jeff Fisher still sucks? i used to really like that guy 5 or so years ago ---------------------- Tampa Bay Buccaneers add Gosder Cherilus to fill in for Demar Dotson Cherilus signed by bucs for 2 yrs max potential of 7 mi. set to earn 2 mil this season. at 31, not a bad deal if he can return to okay form. 2 mil for an above avg RT? |

Dez has always been like this, he has plenty of shit around here from former teammates of his.

Re: NFL Training Camp thread!
Cardinals LG Mike Iupati's knee surgery was to repair a torn meniscus.
Coach Bruce Arians puts Iupati's timeline at 3-8 weeks, which is slightly better than the originally announced 6-8 weeks. Iupati is an extreme long-shot for the Cardinals' Sept. 13 opener, and could miss the entire first month of the season. Ted Larsen will start in the interim. Schreff > Iupati Deal with it |
