I had us losing the Dolphin game by a TD. I think we lose the one by 6.

23 Rams -17 Redskins

I see us running the ball well again. I just donthought see us preventing their weapons from making plays with are depleted secondary this week. Will be a fun game if all pans out though.

0-2 till we beat though he Giants next week.

For that reason I care more about this game than just about any other on the schedule this year. One would hope that last year's stunt would provide a little more motivation for the Skins. It would for most teams. We'll see I guess.

Its hard to see us coming out on top in this one. That Rams defense is stout. Specifically their defensive line. I don't expect Alfred Morris to run them over like he did the Fins. If we have any chance to win this game Cousins will have to play a lot better than he did last week.

The Rams don't have any better of a DL than the Dolphins who added Suh. Both were among the worst rushing defenses in the league last year.

The Rams are quicker and more athletic than Miami. I'm not saying they are better but their speed will cause us more problems than the Fins defensive line.

Definitively, the Dolphins are a better team overall. I think the Rams just match up against our weaknesses better.

It's weird.. somehow I've become an accidental Rams fan. I don't care one way or the other about the organization but I like Jeff Fisher, I liked Gregg Williams when he was here and I think highly of Nick Foles. Chris Long obviously played at UVA and I watched him play for a few years there. I want to see all of those guys sad after the game. But I do like them..

I used to respect Jeff Fischer but I do not think it is a coincidence that his players try to get under the opponents skin doing little antagonizing things during and after the whistle.

Agree...fisher is a major league jerkoff. A lot of folks were dick riding this guy as a genus coach...but the Rams have finished in the cellar all but once since he's been there...that year he finished 3rd. I know some around here were trying to put fisher in the hof...smh. I hope we smoke this fool

Exactly..

Like I said after the game Sunday, this team is playing physical. If they can keep doing that, they can wear opponents down. I'm not sure that we have the depth to keep our guys fresh but it gives us a chance.

I can't argue that point. There's no guaranteed wins on our schedule but I don't see many guaranteed losses either. Week 2 will tell us a lot but I think we can compete.

Whole heartedly agree...trust me, the fans aren't the only ones who remember the coin toss crap or him dancing like a lil school girl on the sideline last year.

it's good and worth listening to since he re-watches it and focuses on blocking etc, but last game a lot of the stuff was self evident.

he is pretty fair and he'll actually say player x played horribly if they weren't good, so that's nice. depth of information beats the stuff you hear on panel shows (like the national pre-game show) by a mile. the national guys (howie/strahan/etc) talk about the team without actually watching them, so i guess you shouldn't really expect too much.

Love it and he clearly articulates why he has the opinion he does. He also pointed out that 4-5 of the penalties in the fins game were garbage calls.

I really don't believe in trying to predict any single game. I think we can all look at our team's strengths and weaknesses and get a gut feeling of where we think our team might end the season in terms of W's and L's. Along the way, we may win some games against superior teams and lose some against the weaker teams we play. That's just the way it goes in the NFL.

You may think I'm crazy, but one of the reasons I was encouraged by the Dolphins game is that the Dolphins didn't beat us. Were beat ourselves. We showed we could stand up to a well-regarded team even though we're just beginning our team building. With that in mind, why can't we beat the Rams if we clean-up some problem areas in this next game? I think we can.

As the old saying goes... Games are rarely won, they are usually lost.

This team needs to learn how to win. Otherwise its just more of the same.

If we lose Sunday it could really be a bad season like 3 to 4 win season. Teams that start out 0-2 don't make the playoffs and with all our bs drama it will get bad fast. So hopefully they win and I believe they will.

I think that's normally true but shedding the drama and playing physical football should help. I think the guys understand that wins aren't going to come very often this year but they can see that everyone is starting to row in the same direction..

Huh? You ain't from around here, are you, son? The thought of the Redskins making the playoffs this season hasn't entered my mind once. I'm just looking for good effort and progress, as a team. We can start thinking about the playoffs in a year or two.

Playoffs??? Yeah I think we just really need to try and win a game. Doubt we'll beat the Giants next Thursday. Can't go 0-3. Would like to see more from the coaching staff this week. Try and gain a possession with a fake punt, push the ball down field a little more too. Just need to be more aggressive overall.
