A head should roll for paying Osweiler all that money. He was just terrible. I'd take Hoyer over him anyday.

Many of you said, "let's sign Arian Foster, blah, blah, blah". Where is he now? RETIRED!! Where he belongs.

Re: Around the No Fun League - Week 7
Question about the AFC South....
Why is this the most disappointing, underachieving division in the league? There is just garbage football being played there. They are all suppose to be young, talented future of the league....all I see is overrated crap. Texans...Clowny, Osweiler and bill Obrien...yuck Colts....worst GM in the league? Overrated coach and QB Jags....Bortles looks terrible this year...he's taken a step back. That coach was suppose to be a great defensive coach...he looks like a bitch with a lot of young talent on that side of the ball. Titans....Mariota hasn't taken that step that everyone said he would before the year began. That defense has been underachieving...except for Rak. what you think? Id say flush this division...none are serious contenders. |
Re: Around the No Fun League - Week 7
I dont disagree with you but how does one go about flushing a whole division?
Disbanding and renaming it AFC Mexico North? And yea, Clowney....so much hype about him and now he looks to be a bust. |

Dont start with the Hoyer talk lol. Brock is playing so bad right now.I wouldnt say Elway dodged a bullet by not signing him because I dont think he would be playing as bad as he is right now if he was still in Denver, but Elway def got the last laugh. That's what makes it so hard when it comes to signing Cousins, where do you draw the line? Elway's line was 16 million and he stuck to his guns and looks like a great move for them. I am of the mindset that whatever this organization decides to do with Kirk will backfire because that has been our luck since Snyder became the owner |

Re: Around the No Fun League - Week 7
Legitimate question from SI article about the NY Giants knowledge of Josh Brown's DV issues:
If the Patriots were fined $1 million and stripped of a first- and fourth-round draft pick for potentially deflating footballs, how can the Giants, who explicitly kept an abuser on its roster and withheld information from the league, not receive an at least equally harsh penalty?
I think the answer is "Because Mara gives Goodell blowjobs in the NFL HQ's bathroom." |
Re: Around the No Fun League - Week 7
The afc south is always a joke. When is the last time they had a legit team? Exactly the Manning days. The jags and titans have sucked for Years now and Houston isn't much better.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
thing is the AFC south was kinda sold as the division who was getting their shit together with a lot of moves the last several seasons that would improve teams. Its a garbage division. |

looks like the Giants cut Brown...finally about 6 months too late. Mara said they were "misguided".....that's this country folks, someone is to blame, not Mara or the Giants. Its the league, or the police, or someone else just not that organization
We need to do some BS translating on this one lol, here we go. "We believed we did the right thing at every juncture in our relationship with Josh," team president John Mara said in a statement. "Our beliefs, our judgments and our decisions were misguided. We accept that responsibility." "I accept no responsibility, and firmly believe we would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for you meddling kids. I don't give two shits about domestic violence, or the spirit of the law. I care about one thing, winning. Josh Brown is a fine football player, and I couldn't care less what he does off the field. He would still remain with us today if this story had quietly faded into the background like we intended it to." "We hope that Josh will continue to dedicate himself to rehabilitation and to becoming a better person and father. We will continue to support him in his efforts to continue counseling, and we hope that Josh and his family can find peace and a positive resolution." "Now that we've been caught with our pants down, I sincerely apologize for getting caught." Brown had released a statement earlier Tuesday, apologizing and saying he has "taken measures to get help" for his alleged domestic abuse and wants to be a "voice of change, not a statistic." "I apologize for getting caught." "It is important to share that I never struck my wife, and never would," Brown said in a statement to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "Abuse takes many forms, and is not a gray area. Through the past several years I have worked to identify and rectify my own behaviors. The road to rehabilitation is a journey and a constant modification of a way of life. My journey will continue forever as a person determined to leave a positive legacy and I embrace the opportunities to show and speak about what has helped me to be that man. Re: Around the No Fun League - Week 7
Let me ask you guys this: If the league was as strict years ago, as now, on this "moral clause" stuff, do you think Ben would have been suspended and or cut after not one, but two rape investigations?
I realize that he was never found guilty, but i'm just kind of playing devil's advocate... |

No, but he's trending in the right direction. Injuries have been his main issue, if he can stay healthy he can ball. |
