I think a big issue in the future for sports in general is that younger people want to watch things when they want not when the NFL, MLB, etc. says the game is on. It not that young people aren't or wont watch, they will, but they might watch their team's 1pm game at 5pm that night or on Tuesday evening. The leagues are going to have to find a way to measure that viewership.

That is true. My kids 9 and 6 don't watch TV through a traditional guide; they basically watch everything on-demand. To be honest I don't either every watch anything when it's aired over then a sporting event if I want to watch it LIVE.

I also think this "I want it when I want it" mentality could easily spill over to attendance. I think when your kids are your age how sporting events are presented (both live and on a screen) will be very different from what we are used to.

Finished on a 6-19 run if you count the next season too. But that was obviously a case of being overmatched, the guy had never been a coordinator before so head coach should've never been an option. There's a good reason all current head coaches have coordinator or college HC experience before they get the gig.

Well where was this talk last year? Giants start off 0-3 and everyone wants to start firing people. It's just so typical of the NFL.

Coughlin got fired for the same reasons you want to fire Macado. Giants can't run the ball and they aren't good enough on offense to be one sided.

I watched that game Sun and really it came down to a few plays. It could have gone either way. Terrible call not giving that TD to Shepard.

Coughlin had been there for a while with no a winning season in the last four years ,his reason for termination was different,Jerry Reese is the one that should be gone and will be.
