Oh, my b. I think I quoted the wrong person on that one lol. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 9 - Trade Deadline
Idk about the rest of you but I don't think Hilton is a stud either. He might have good stats but he's not a big baller worthy of big baller money for me.

I’m with this. We aren’t getting anything from Pryor and he won’t be back next year. Let’s get these valuable reps to a young guy. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 9 - Trade Deadline
I believe Landry's deal is up so he's going to want top wr money. Also maybe those teams were asking for too much. Frankly I'm tired of building the team from the outside in. We can't run the ball and haven't been able to. The last thing we need to be doing is giving up draft picks for crybaby wr's. Maybe they can check to see what kind of shape Santana's in....lol.
Santana Moss right now would be 100% better than Pryor. No doubt about it. |

Re: Around the NFL week 9
Kinda hard to see what Cox did but it appears like he sucker punched Staley from behind. The blow had to be done with such force to cause an orbital (eye socket) fracture so it wasnt him just reaching out inadvertently.
Odd looking play. |
Re: Around the NFL week 9
No link but Andrew Luck is out for the season. Russell Wilson and KC are the best two from that draft at this point.

Very weird season in terms of injuries. Is this going to be the new trend.

Idk what's worse, losing half your starters to injury, or losing your stud rookie qb that was playing a large part of your team's success. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 9 - Trade Deadline
Garcon got paid this year. I can see him actually resigning with us again in the off-season.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 9 - Trade Deadline
This Ezekiel Elliot shit is a joke. How much of our tax money is being wasted on all these hearings? This isnt a death sentence. How many appeals do you get?

Re: Around the NFL Week 9 - Trade Deadline
I cant think of a more mismanaged league than the NFL. Now that ratings are way way down from 2015, merchandise declining, etc. The red flags are waving. Will be interesting to see what happens. What a complete shit show with this whole Zeke deal.

This all falls on the commissioner. Why does he continue to suspend guys and then have it get dragged through the courts? That's just bad PR. I'd be furious at that guy if I was an owner. |

He got paid like 18 million, so we can probably get him for a very reasonable price. And, clearly, we have missed him. He had success here. If he can get past any hard feelings I could see him coming back. |

Yeah. Everything he touches turns to shit!! Such incompetence and he gets paid like 30 million a year or something. Literally, no one likes him. He has a punchable face. |

Goodell tenure could provide a college-level class a curriculum about what not to do as a commissioner for a professional league. Not only is it the decision making and guidance...there is a feeling of him being disingenuous with both the players and the fans constantly. Ive never believed him to be truly sincere about anything other than the dollars he wants to take out of everyone's pockets. I mean, he is a fuckface by all definitions... or a "fuck boy" as the kids call it today. |

This actually falls solely on the NFLPA. The NFL is just following the disciplinary process that was bargained in the last CBA between the League and the Players. The NFLPA doesn't like it and that's why you have these court cases. It is actually pretty ridiculous how much the NFLPA is screwing the players financially, by making player discipline such a big issue. Come next CBA time, I'm sure the league will make some concessions on player discipline, while putting major financial issues off the table (like guaranteed salaries, etc,. etc.). |
