Fuck Crowder and Doctson. Too many drops, for Crowder too many fumbles or plays directly leading to turnovers this year. And in general fuck all the injuries.
That is basically the store of the season. I would just add improved defense. |
Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
People forget that since Doctson missed most of last this is basically his rookie year. By the way, how many TD’s does he have this year? 5
To me...it seems like Breeland and Fuller have been outplaying Josh. Even Dunbar on limited work has played decent. I wonder if Josh drop off is injury related? Call me crazy, but a move like Norman for a number 1 WR would be something Im interested in. Breeland play has been better and better as the season has wore on...maybe Gray coaching? I would make an offer to keep Bree.
Broken ribs don't heal overnight so I'm guessing he is playing hurt. |
Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
We really need a number 1 WR...crowder and doctson seem like pieces BUT not a go-to...not players who can carry the load.
Id look around the league...there are a couple coming out in free agency and some who could be moved or cut due as salary cap casualties. Also, why not invest a little in a vet KR/PR? someone dependable. Im done with Crowder back there...its too much for him to be a WR and then cover kicks. Finally, WR coach needs to get the boot immediately.
Jarvis Landry in free agency maybe? He was on the trading block this year. Could fill that go to void and for PR |
Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
Josh is a good RZ threat but he can't get open in the field of play enough. Crowder is a 3 or 2 at best.
the drops by both Doctson and Crowder killed this team last night in the first half. |

The issue with Doctson is for every great catch or TD he follows it up with 2 or 3 drops |

not opposed to that...I know there have been rumblings about D Thomas in Denver...either one could walk in and assume #1 duties. Let Doctson continue to grow on the outside and work crowder in the slot, but neither of these guys show #1 abilities. |

This. I have confidence in time he will be a good player, but we desperately need a true #1 right now to take heat off him and Crowder. Crowder hasn't been the same since Garcon and Jackson left. He didn't have this hands issue last year. |

If you combined his raw talent with Garcon's competitive mentality, you would have a Top-10 receiver, without question.

Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
We simply can not draft wr's. It's so frustrating. Doc just isn't consistent enough. I'd go get one guy in free agency but that's it. You drafted these guys so you hope they pick it up, develop and play better. You can't go spending a boat load of $ on free agent WR's.

He gotta grow. I swear, Cousins put the ball on him in the first quarter coming out of a break on a square in/deep slant, Doctson was flying and had the safety to beat and that safety looked to be planted, not moving.....and he drops it. One move around the safety, that coulda been 6. Those were exactly the same patterns Rivers and his receivers were carving up Cowboys the previous week. deep slants, square ins.... |
Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
It’s real simple, his team didn’t show up against a shitty team.
They didn’t show up the last game of season last year either. His team was not ready to play. And he has a punchable face....
I think you should have led with the face,..... |

Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
Forgive me guys for my bluntness...but...Jamison Crowder had his Head Up His A$$ all night.
As for Kirk Cousins...he made some good throws, but honestly it wasn't his best night either. I am wondering if the team might have been too Tight for the game and Overally Focused, and that might have been the reason for their screw ups. As for Gruden, I personally ambivalent. The team did look a bit disorganized, but some of the $h! + that Crowder did cannot be blamed on the coaches. Just my opinions. Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk |

T. Pryor = P. Garcon? Thanks Dan!

Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
Injuries..... Vikings are 9-2 with 3rd string Q.B! Front office is everything.

Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
Vikings lost starting running back and Q.B. early in year! 9-2

Vikings have 7 players on IR. Redskins have 20. |
Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
Vikings are also better than us at WR, CB, DL and TE. Keenum is solid but his D is nasty. Makes it easier

Re: Burn it down: Redskins - Cowboys Post Game Central
Vikings have an healthy OL, it helps.
Vikings have currently 4 players with injury designation (and one of them is "non injury related"), we have 14, on top of our 15 on IR. |

The problem with Doctson is he is used as a pitch hitter, he gets one target a quarter if he is lucky. This is ok for veteran players but he needs to be the primary target on nearly all pass plays. He needs to get a feel for working DBs and setting up plays later in the game. I think he can be a true #1 WR but we have to trust him with back shoulder throws and slants. These are easy routes for WRs and the fact that we don't have 1 guy on the team that can run a god damn slant tells me this coaching staff (FU IKE HILLIARD) is limiting his production. |
