The NFL needs to loosen up some on this crap, as long as they aren't looking all crazy like some college teams, I dont see the big issue. The rams should just go to these full time anyway
But color rush was ok

Why can't the NFL let the team wear what the fans want to see them in? That's nonsensical. As far as I'm concerned, a team should be able to wear what they want to wear. I thought the Navy and White is pretty cool looking, but I really like the blue and yellow. The gold and navy just screams St. Louis to me. I was never really a fan of that uniform.

Why don’t the Rams just pick a uniform and go with it?

They need to commit to a style and stick with it.

Hate the team, respect the players if the earn it.

Damn SI, at least get the man's name right.

I never knew the glory days of Matt Millen, only the "glory days" of Matt Millen's FO career. With that being said it sounds like a shit way to go so best of luck to him in his fight.

Just saw a headline saying it's been 500 days since Luck threw a pass in a game.. Holy shit. Is he done? Who would have thought RW and Kirk would have been the best QB's in that draft.

Not sure Luck is done. We'll see how he does over the summer. I am pretty sure Indi is counting on his return.

I think it’s safe to say Luck is on quite the uphill climb to get back to being a high level QB.

He hasn't thrown a ball in more than a year. He had interception issues before, and now his throwing shoulder is messed up. If he comes back and is a top ten qb I will take back all the negative things I said about him when he was healthy and throwing picks.

It's really the Colts fault though. They got away with not protecting PManning because of his abilities, and they thought they could do the same with Luck, but he really isn't anywhere near PManning even when fully healthy.

This.

To be clear, he may or may not be back. I think Indi is counting on him coming back as the starting QB. While not a given, I think it more likely than not he will.

Regardless, after that long a lay-off and given the nature of the shoulder injury, I just don't think he will ever be as good as was - and I have the same opinion of him that CRed does. Even if he returns, he will be average and it will be a struggle for him to even be considered anything more than that. In addition, he will likely be a high injury risk and have a short career.

So will he back? I think probably. Will he ever again be considered a top tier QB? I think that is highly unlikely.

He was the clear cut favorite and the next Elway to many.. Crazy how the draft can really shape out.. Look at Luck and RG3 back to back, both had great rookie years and since then....

In the last 10 years, they have had only 1 season when they won more than 5 games for the entire year. 2014 they won 7.

In the last two years, they have won 1 game. It might be amusing just to see what the coaches are telling these players because whatever they have been telling them has not been working.

With the nfl determined to get rid of the kick off (the new proposals are terrible), i wondered about using a 5 on 5 rugby style scrum at the 30 yard line un its place. So the coin flip now determines which team chooses where the scrum starts.

Just curious of people's thoughts for possible alternatives.

I hate the changes.

The XFL had an interesting concept with the scramble to start games.
I doubt they would try to copy anything from the XFL but it's the only thing I liked about the league.

Looks like that determined who kicked off, but the NFL should at least try to replace the kickoff with something. I fear they will just get to the point of starting each possession at the 25.

And the new suggested rules are ALL terrible.

The tough luck cut...the surprise guy who makes the team...the bad injury...coach yelling at a rookie...rookie transition to league...the rookie hazing...what other storylines am I missing?

Does McC still work for the browns? Maybe tried to feed him alcohol and roll camera?
