Listening to Smoot and Galdi this morning, they’re saying make an offer to Romo, and tell him he would be qb next year,I personally would love this to happen, were out of options,or good options anyway.
Even if skins actually made that call don’t believe theres a chance in hell Romo would do it

Romo is 38 and been out of football for 2 full years. No way would they do that. I'd rather Tank for Tua if that was the case

Dumb, just dumb. Romo can't stay healthy. He's softer than baby poop at this point being a year removed.

You don’t think Romo out of football for 2 years Wouldn’t be better than dirty Sanchez or any of the other free-agent quarterback is out there?
And how sweet would it be to have Romo knock cowboys out of playoffs? It couldn’t get any sweeter than that!!
And two years out of football has gave him plenty of time to heal up

Hell he's probably better than Mark but that isn't saying much. I'd rather draft a rookie and go from there

Well so would I but From what I’ve read next years draft class is not that great and we won’t be drafting that high anyway,so anyone we draft would probably be better for them to sit and learn a year, there’s no RG3 out there that we are going to be able to get

I'm trying to find Gruden's comments after the game about the D, I heard it reported.

No the D isn't excused at all but on offense injuries have gutted us to the point where an already limited offense is now severely crippled.

Yep at full strength this O is in the bottom half, with the injuries its faced?

Probably gonna end up 32nd

What is so frustrating is how they used Ertz and how we use Reed. Anyone notice Reed is basically asked to run a couple yards in front of the center and turn around. It's 3rd and 8 and he runs 5 yard routes. What the hell are these guys doing when they're game planning. I mean Terry Orr use to run deeper routes than Reed.

Because our front 7 can’t get enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks. They have time to let shit develop. We have like 2.5 seconds.

Another huge issue is team speed, we lack it big time at WR. Anyone see slow ass Doc running on the sanchez deep ball? LOL He looked like he was running in slow motion. He's another guy that is probably going to be gone

Where did you find that tidbit of information or did you dig it up yourself? I would think the current Cleveland Browns haven't won 11 games either since they were an expansion team. For the record that is off of memory, I did not look it up.

They did when Holcomb was QB and they had Braylon Edwards at WR.

That one needs an asterisk. Cleveland won 11 games in 1994, but that franchise is now the Baltimore Ravens. The current Browns franchise's record for wins is 10, which happened in 2007. I checked on Pro Football Reference.

To be honest I was shocked to see they had a 10 win season, off the top of my head I would have figured them to be 8-8 at best. Now that is really pathetic, in the past 20 years the Skins highest win total equals that of the frickin Cleveland Browns.

I can't understand how AP gets 90yards on one carry and doesn't end the game with 100 yards.

Romo would probably only leave the booth to play for the Redskins if he was mentally ill and was self destructive.

Doesn’t Romo also have a significant neck injury history a la Peyton Manning? Like a couple more serious shots and he’d snap like a twig?

FWIW: On the Jordan Reed to Chris Thompson pass play, Trent Williams was trying to make up for someone else's miss on the block. He nearly got it, too. Was not his man.

that being said, can you name any perennial pro bowler players on this roster right now? It is a kind of a catch 22 situation, would the roster look better with better coaches are are they getting the most out of a limited group. I dont really know.[/QUOTE]Yeah that was Reed's guy... he blocked him for about 0.0002 seconds... pathetic effort, but you expect Trent to be a football player and react better than that, he has absolutely nobody else to block.
Again, not gonna spend time crucifying TW over it, Trent is one of the rare bright spots of this offense.

I just feel like it says something about this team that one of your best players cannot make this play in a somewhat crucial spot.

Yikes. Swearinger, per @InstantRHIplay: "It takes coaches and players. Players, we locked in last week. We felt like we was locked in, especially on the defensive side of the ball. It takes players and coaches, not just the players."

Yeah.... Jay gone

Speaking of DJ

6 targets
5 receptions
90 yards

In man coverage.

He got burned last night all game.

Yeah he needs to shut it already. He was part of the problem with constantly trying to strip the ball out rather than tackling. Bush league.

Swearinger needs to be an in the box type safety. We need a true deep FS on this team. Of course we need help everywhere so put it on the list. Secondary gets smoked all the time. Talk about a position group that needs a complete rebuild. I wouldn't be opposed to 4 new starters back there. 3 if Dunbar's nerve issue is 100% resolved by next year.

Incompetent play calling by Gruden is how....he was a much better OC in Cincinnati than he is now as a play caller....

A 3rd string QB is airing it out while the starting running back runs for a 90 yard touchdown yet only receives 8 more carries....Gruden should be fired for that alone.

It helps when u have AJ Green, and Houshmandzadah with a good QB.

Side note:

Trent Williams had a bad night, and he allowed 0 that's right 0 pressures.

That shows how great he is
