Lol I bet that's when the owner would realize he fucked up on this whole move thing. I cannot remember where but I remember reading an article explaining that not many LA people are excited about Chargers as they are about Rams, Chargers would be embraced greatly had if they decided to stay in SD.
Someone posted in another thread attendance numbers for all NFL teams. And both LA teams were at the bottom in attendance. Owners are enamored with TV ratings in LA, but there just isn't much of a fan following for football team. And these are teams that are winning. |

The possibility exists of an all California Super Bowl.

And just think, right when it was announced that the Chargers and Rams were headed to LA, there were some Los Angeles residents on another board who were very disappointed with those teams. They were whining the whole time about not having a pro football team, and then when they get not one but two teams, they whined about the teams they were getting. Now, they might have a very real opportunity to have those two teams represent in the Super Bowl - makes you kind of scratch your head a bit, doesn't it? Wonder how many fair weather fans they'll attract now? |
Re: Week 15 around the NFL
I don't think we'd look any better with Fuller in our lineup because Manusky is shit.

You could have both the AFC and NFC Championship games in LA. |
Re: Week 15 around the NFL
I think it would be great to see LA vs LA in the SB...kinda refreshing actually. Always like the Chargers mainly because Phillip Rivers has been largely ignored as a great QB.

Rams , Bears or Saints would be cool in NFC and I'd love the Chargers or KC in the AFC. |

Qualcomm Stadium (called something different now) is a big cement fucking dump. There's a reason the NFL quit playing SBs in the absolute best city to have damn near all the SBs. There was more to it than bad ownership choice. In hindsight, they should have tried for San Antonio or something. |

The Browns would be foolish not to bring back Gregg Williams.
It’s amazing what an attitude adjustment has done for the Browns. |

I drive by there all the time. To me it will always be Jack Murphy...lol. There is room downtown for a stadium for the Chargers. Hope it happens because there is no way they will get enough support in LA. Spanos should just sell the team to someone that has more money. |
Re: Week 15 around the NFL
Holy smokes, both the Cowpukes and Gmen get shut out on the same day. With the Iggles playing the Rams, we may end up being the only winning NFC East team this weekend. Crazy.
Meanwhile in the NFC North, the Lions, Packers, and Vikes, which have a ton of money tied to their QBs, get to see the Bears clinch the division. |

What an embarrassment for the cowboys and giants

I can only pray to the football gods this is the descent of the Cowboys back to average/mediocre. Seeing them mentioned as legit SB contenders is the worst thing I've seen in years. |

If you're driving east on Friars from Mission Valley, I'm the next street you can turn right onto after the stadium. And the 1st complex. I moved down here in 2003. I missed the Jack Murphy days. Based on Wikipedia, I moved down here during the last 1/3rd of the season the Pads played there. |
Re: Week 15 around the NFL
Dallas will not be a SB contender with Garrett/Dak ever. Both of those guys are mediocre at best. They will win the east by injury default but will be 1 and done unless they play Minnesota or us in the 1St round.

Nic Mullens for the 49ers will fetch a decent draft pick for them if they trade him.

Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I think LA gets second seed. They have Cards and 49ers left on schedule. Best case scenario for Skins is for LA to drop one to the Cards and force Chicago to play against Minnesota in week 17. |
