I broke my damn tv after that second Johnson interception.....fortunately it's watchable enough until I get a replacement....this team was doomed as soon as they went below .500. To go from 6-3 with a 2 game division lead to where they are now iritates the fuck out of me....I commend Jay Gruden for coaching a broken team for a 2nd straight year....but from what I've observed since the Texans game the defense was the main reason for the team's collapse....they are currently ranked 17th in the NFL....but that's a far cry from where they were after the team was 5-2....
Manusky needs to evaluate what he does after each game...because most of the problem is the play calling....
I share your frustration. Years and years of disappointment as a fan have lowered my expectations greatly and I too have been tempted to destroy my TV on multiple occassions LOL. But I've learned to adapt and find a distraction elsewhere to get my mind off yet another f'd up year. Just hope to see a true turnaround before I take a dirt nap. |
While I would be the last to defend Manusky, I think that Swearinger needs to shut up while so many tackles are being missed.
Totally agree, this should stay in house but it certainly defines further what appears to be a divided locker room and doesnt speak well of Manusky's ability to run the D. |
Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
I have had some time to calm down and have come to this conclusion. Fuck Dan Snyder still. Fuck Bruce Allen still. Fuck Jay Gruden still. Fuck Manusky still. Fuck Doctson still. And actually, fuck about 90% of this team. We let Blaine fucking Gabbert end our season. That is enough to possibly ruin football forever for me. As if im not basically already there.

Aaaaand here we have ANOTHER blunder made by the front office. Another bad decision in a LOOOOOOONG line of Piss poor decision making. They had the chance to get Wade Phillips to run the D before picking this clown, and let him walk. Instead our old offensive coordinator McVay (another blunder by this shit team) was smart enough to grab him. Phillips is one of the best 3-4 Coordinators in the modern era. Our front office thought Manusky could do a better job. With the amount of talent we have Phillips would be running a top 5 easily Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Either way, change is coming. Swearinger or Manusky will be gone after the season. |

I don’t get it man. Why can’t Moreau just do his job? Players have to execute the play that’s called. Swearinger needs to call out guys on the defense for lack of a pass rush and missed tackles or just stfu already |

I still want accountability from this guy. There is absolutely no reason he cannot stand in front of the media once a year and be asked the tough questions. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sure, keep the big mouth malcontent who’s been a journeyman in this league over a solid DT. Obviously you haven’t been watching Payne and Allen, we have a solid D line with those 2, plus Ionnadis and Settle, ILB has been the issue along with the whole secondary. |
Re: Titans Postgame
Payne has been a good pick so far, he's done a great job at getting pressure and that was his weakness in college. The Defense caved when it mattered tho and that is on players and coaches. Also where was Smith and RK on that last drive? That's what I talk about when it comes to our edge guys, they disappeared once again when the game was on the line. We let Blaine Gabbert drive the ball and score a TD to win. This season was brutal for skins fans, starting 6-3 which was a huge surprise, then falling back to reality with injuries once again. I won't be able to watch next weeks game, I'll be in Daytona but I will say I'm glad this year is over. It sucked ass

Right. Just a squirmy little fuck head fan boy who hides up in the box and acts like he is just an owner not responsible for anything football related. He is an absolutely terrible owner. Ruined home field by building that awful stadium in an awful location. Has hired dipshit after dipshit after dipshit. Has been a snake in the grass suing everyone- wtf has he ever done that would be considered a nice legacy? |
Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
Nope. He will continue to hide while the Redskins have gone 27 consecutive years without 11 wins.

Titans could have said the same tune... " We let Josh Johnson beat us." Bottom line is Gabbert played pretty well. We got some bad breaks.. missed catch by Floyd, bad call on Moreau, missed Int by HaHa. Punch sometimes you should try and analyze what actually happened in the game, vs. your pure anger for the coaches and the FO..lol. |

Wasn't it JKC that developed FedExcrement field in what was referred to at the time as "RalJon?" Also we all at one time or another didnt want to see or hear from little Danny boy and just hire good football peeps to run the team and sign checks. I def know what you're saying though and I will never support this owner or most of team mgt. We just need Snyder brought up on some sexual assault charges or have a photo of him in bed with a goat surface before he'll ever sell the team. Sorry, SF69 posted comment abt JKC while I was posting. |

Allen and Payne are always relentless and play to the whistle with max effort. Ioannidas does as well even when the play is going away from them.

Im not seeing that still. To me it is clear he could have kept running. If he reacted to the ball in the air it was 5-10 yards to the left of where said ball was. |
Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
DJ needs to go. I'm done with that guy. They should sit him down next week. You're always going to have a disagreement w/ a coach on a call. Probably every game this goes on on every NFL sideline. But you don't go to the media about it like some little whiney ass cry baby bitch. Go to your coach and air your differences. On top of that it looked like a ticky tack call to begin with.

Re: Forgetting the Titans and Doctson Post Game Thread
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said they have not yet decided if DJ Swearinger will be disciplined for his comments about DC Greg Manusky. Said going to go back and look at comments; talk to DJ. Says he was disappointed.
