You hit it right on the head SYSTEM makes a huge difference. I said after Kingsbury was hired that Rosen will probably be moved, the style of offense they want to run is like a Kansas City, QB moves around a lot and RPO IS heavy.. Rosen doesn't fit that mold, it has nothing to do with him being a bust lol.

Rosen for a 2nd is a win for the Redskins.

The last 10+ years of 2nd round picks has been disastrous.
Getting a QB with first round talent for a 2nd is worth it considering our QB situation.

If he doesn't work out this year, we will most likely end up with a new HC and top 5 pick next year so we can start over again without losing much.

We need to do this and get an edge rusher with 1.15.

I voted yes as long as the dummies in Ashburn ( Allen and Dan ) don't overpay for him. You have to be willing to walk away from a deal if it hurts the future of the team. The Redskins seem to struggle in that area.

If they can get him for their second round pick, do it. I'm not sure I'm down with a straight up swap - Rosen for the 15th, but if that is what the price is, I can see it happening.

If the skins could get Rosen for a 2, I would be OK with it. If that would happen I think I would try to trade down in the first to try to recoup that 2, unless there is a can't miss star there.

I don't see it too although, lot of teams know Steelers now do not hold full bargaining power because of Brown's actions lately.

IDK, they let Laveon Bell sit out a whole year and didn't cave in to his demands, so I doubt they give away Antonio Brown.

You can't keep a first round pick on the bench, any more then we could with RG3.

If you bring in a first round qb after picking one, you have made a statement to your team that you are moving on. Keeping him around would be terrible personnel management.

Bell is in a different situation - he is a free agent who was tagged with a franchise tag, preventing him from signing with any teams. When Bell was tagged for the first time, he accepted it (with a little noise) and played through the season.

Brown is not a free agent - he is still under contract with Steelers, if Steelers choose to keep Brown on the team then the drama will continue throughout the season (on and off field). I doubt this is something Steelers would want to take on.

For a third rounder? Yes.

For a second rounder? Yes, provided we get a lower round pick back to even it out.

For a first rounder? Yes, but multiple pieces would have to be included because he's not worth a first rounder on his own.

Cooley likes the mechanics, footwork, pocket presence, competitiveness and arm.

But Rosen makes a lot of dumb decisions, too loose with the ball and fumbles a ton...always has.

Cooley says no way he gives up #15 for him.

At UCLA he seemed to save his dumb decisions for the worst possible times. I think he barely was over .500 as a starter. He also didn't have many signature wins on his resume.

We def have to sign a legit swing veteran Guard in FA. Id bring Cooper into camp to compete as well.

We can just sit back and say 'hey the draft will provide us one'...that being said we should def be targeting some and draft one at some point in the draft.

That would be awesome, but I don't think Sweat will be there at 15.

Then again, i didn't think Allen would be there at 17 for us in 2017 or that Guice would be there at 53 last year, so what do i know?

JP and Sheehan repeatedly been saying when we're thinking of compensation to send out to AZ for Rosen or Pittsburg for Brown, don't necessarily assume it will be draft picks. Both have been saying that guys like Norman, Kerrigan, and even Trent Williams may be traded, either as part of these deals or on draft day for picks. With Sheehan, it comes off more as speculation. JP seems to know something.

Please, no more than a 3rd round pick for Rosen. The fact that the team that drafted him #10 overall is already giving up on him is not a good sign.
This situation reminds me of Alex Smith when his two last teams looked to upgrade/replace him. That should be a sign to our FO he is not a stud.
They are now entertaining offers for Rosen for potentially a 2nd or 3rd round pick? Wow.
The market is not good for AZ and Rosen.
