Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Amazing how you deduced all that from a one-week turnaround.
Good for them for playing like a quality team on SNF but in the immortal words of Murtaugh: [yt]Ts3-eBuaVqg[/yt]
Well, who else is going to win the East? It is between Philly n Dallas. Like Okie said they are not going to win one game in the postseason. NFC East is weak AF. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Rats, all the win less and one win teams lost yesterday. I am already making following possible draft order the reason I follow teams other than the Redskins.

Right lol, they are 3-0 in the east, the Giants and skins suck... Philly has no defense. Dallas will go 10-6 and win the division |

Are you saying we don't have a chance? Shit punch, we're only 3 games out of first with 9 left to play. Anything can happen! |

Sua Cravens got into a fight w an NBA guy. He won the fight although video quality is poor and they werent trading blows, more grabbing.

Bad trade for NE but they can afford it, nobody else is giving up a 2 for an old #3 WR |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
9ers trade for Emmanuel Sanders

Re: Around the NFL Week 7
The increase in trades in the NFL over the past few years is crazy. Its changing the dynamic of building a franchise. You see teams like the Rams clearly going all in to create a 2-3 year window.
I have to imagine the owners have talked about increasing trading so the NFL brand stays a 365 sport. The NBA dominated the summer with its trade talk and speculations etc. Can we get some of this trading freenzy love? Trent for a 1st, Kerrigan for a 3rd, Richardson for a 7th, norman for a 7th etc |

If he wants to get traded, giving the team back his salary is not a good way to do it. |

Bruce needs to be fucking fired he's such a piece of shit. Take that DAMN GOOD CULTURE and shove it up your lying ass you fuckin loser.

At this point, I prefer for us to fall to #2.. We have been really spoiled with LT with Samuels and Williams, I hope this luck will continue next year. |

We can draft a LT in the 2nd round, I want Chase Young from OHST at #2, that kid is a freak and Kerrigan is done so Sweat and Young on the edge for years to come. |

We don't have a second round pick unless we trade away a player for it or trade up or down. Also, I wouldn't feel too confident with any player Redskins draft in 2nd round due to our bad history with 2nd round players. For whatever reason, Redskins always fuck up with the players chosen in 2nd round. |

I hope we will get more than that for Williams, but then it's Allen and Snyder we are talking about so I won't be surprised if this happens. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
The Pats gave up a 2nd rounder for a average ass 30 year old Sanu. Are you working the phones Bruce?? Or are you too busy running errands for Dan?

Why are you asking questions you already know the answer to? Bruce isn't working anything. He's not calling anyone, he's not accepting any calls right now. We just hit a pothole so far, everything is going according to plan and we'll be in playoff contention by the end of the year. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Wish they would trade Williams now for picks - hopefully a 1'st rounder and I don't care if is New England we trade with because we could always package that to move up (assuming we are not in the top 5) or trade back in the 2'nd with that pick and pick up another pick as well
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
And Yeah I'd unload Norman now for whatever we could get along with any other aging vet and then resign Scherff. I'd also trade Reed after the season if he doesn't retire.... and cut V Davis

Reed's contract runs through 2021 at $9 mil a year, no one is going to trade anything for him. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 7
Teams I am following closely now are:
Cincinnati 0-7 Miami 0-6 New York Jets 1-5 Atlanta 1-6 The Redskins have upended how I follow the NFL. I am following the bottom feeders hoping for no worse than pick #2 in next years draft. Beating Miami was costly. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 7
The Jets will receive a third-round pick in 2020 and a fifth-rounder in 2021, a source told Schefter. The fifth-round pick in 2021 will become a fourth-rounder if Williams signs an extension with the Giants before the start of the 2021 league year. The Jets are paying $4 million of the $6 million remaining on Williams' contract this year.
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27950334/source-jets-trade-dl-leonard-williams-giants I must admit, at the time I was a Williams over Scherff fan. |
