I study politics a lot, and consider myself to be more informed on political stuff than the average guy who just watches TV, and I've felt for a while now, that the whole mantra / identity of the left is just "Agree with us or we will hate you / impeach you / try and ruin you professionally". This divide between left and right existed far before Donald Trump, and unfortunately it seems that it will continue well after his presidency. Personally, i was a Democrat in high school and college, but left the party in the late 2000's as i consider myself to be politically neutral.

20 straight title defenses. I was blown away when he beat Earnie Shavers. I think he doesn't get his due because of all the great heavyweights that were from the 70's that were no longer around in his time. I believe he holds the title of being heavyweight champ for the longest time streak. I think a lot of boxings talking heads figure he dominated a weak heavy weight class of the early 80's.

I would also appreciate if we kept politics out of this sub. I’m not anyone important, but politics have become extremely polarizing under the current administration. Politically, everyone’s lost their damn minds (both sides). This forum should he a haven from that.

This is going to be the last post I write on this subject as I don't want to discuss politics in this forum either.

I apologized once (refer to post #34) for bringing politics into here. I fucked up, that's on me. I'm not apologizing twice, and I'm not gonna apologize for calling Bob on it when he decided to keep this beef going after the fact.

Bob has the honor of being the 2nd person on my ignore list, and I say again, if he has the same problem with me he is more than welcome to put me on his. I'm tired of arguing with boomers that I have nothing in common with.

I'm here on this forum to talk football, and that's it. I'm moving on to the Giants.
