DEVIN ASIASI TE UCLA Cooley said he really liked this guy’s game...this dude is pretty good after reading up and watching some highlights. For his size, the guy moves well. If he could get in better shape he would be even better. 5th round type pick...
This is my favorite TE option for our 3rd/4th round selection. The Notre Dame guy sounds good too. But I don't think he'll be around. |

Cole Kmet easily the best TE in the draft, likes him better than Hockenson last year. He has a first round grade. 2. Adam Trautman 3. ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM He mentioned UCLA Asiasi and Georgia Charlie Wormer as 2 other he really likes Cooley still watching tape tho |

More on Tua, looks like he also has broken the same wrist twice that many did not know about among other things. Anyone drafting him high, especially trading up for him is taking a huge risk on health alone. |

Yeah I've watched tape on both and its not even close, Hock was an animal.. Kmet is more like a Fant to me, solid but not that level. |

Yeah not sure he would last to rd 4, but he would be a nice pick |
Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread
Hopefully we get some draft capital for TW a pick this year and next year.

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread
So obviously Chase Young with the first rd pick, 3rd round pick if he falls:
Michael Pittman JR WR USC That’s my choice |
They have to go T or TE in the 3rd unless a super slips.
I could see some super slips at WR, Corner, interior OL and maybe even LB in the 3rd. I think the run at Tackles will happen in the second and I’m just not sold on the TE class. Just not, I think you could get equal quality of prospect in the fourth and fifth round. I don’t want to reach. I still like the guy from UCLA [YT]qJMN5aJN6cM[/YT] He catches with his hands and he is faster than you think. |
Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread
What we need is more draft picks. By that I mean more draft picks without trading the #2 pick. That pick is reserved for Chase Young. I doubt that trading down would help much. The Trent Williams saga is such a mess I'm not expecting anything to get done on that front. So, as of today, I'm assuming that we won't get the quantity of players we'd like to have in this draft. Maybe we'll be able to get something done by trading for a player or picking up another FA on a one or two year contract..

Reminds me of a (young) Vernon Davis, maybe more Antonio Gates. Got some speed and agility for a big guy. What's his blocking like? |

From what Ive read its solid. When I see him move, he reminds me of Jerome Bettis. For his size, he is extremely limber in his movement...not stiff anywhere. Also, what is eye opening is in his play on field he is a pure hands catcher...also catches in traffic. Natural run after the catch motion... When I look at this TE prospects: a TE at Dayton...Dayton offense is high school like...the TE from Missouri, very little production. These guys are being talked about way too high. Cole Kmet is the best prospect at TE...Hunter Bryant is a solid 3rd round prospect. But if you are taking Trautman, Okwuegbuanam, Hopkins, Moss in the 3rd round you are reaching big time. Too many better prospects early 3rd. |

Lloyd Cushenberry III - Center LSU Another 3rd round guy who deserves a look...I like Roullier, but Ive heard talk Roullier could compete at LG as a starter. Cushenberry is an unheralded player in a good class of interior Oline prospects. |

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread
Yeah but that doesn't mean you can't upgrade, it's like any other position.. When we always say "Oh we have so and so at CB already" You have to take the best players at key positions. I think our line will surprise some though, if we can keep Trent and he actually shows up to play I'd be very happy.

I’m just hoping that I can drive down to an open TC and see how good Chase Young really is. I think it’s a 50-50 percentage about whether we’ll be able to watch training camp in person.

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread
Who is the Draft pick that falls in the first round and who is the guy who goes higher than folks believe (based on mock drafts)
The guy who falls: QB Justin Herbert The guy who goes higher than projected: I got 2...Tackle Andrew Thomas is a top 6 pick, CB CJ Henderson goes in the top 10 |
Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread
Word is we're listening to offers for #2, so if that does happen (and I still think its smoke screening) then it will shake up the early picks, especially if the Lions and Giants both trade down too. Probably pure fantasy, but what if this were to happen:
Skins trade with Phins - only partner with the quantity and quality of picks to make the trade an easier choice Lions trade with Chargers Giants trade with Raiders 4 QB's taken in 1st 4 picks and we still get CY and more picks :) |

I want to know what they're offering which hasn't been reported yet. They may interested in moving up to get Young not Tua. Still think we stay pat, but if Miami offers all 3 #1s that would be intriguing. Doubt this is what is going on honestly but would love to know. |
