That highlight video made me want to order an AGG jersey.

https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/prospect-microscope--meet-liberty-wr-antonio-gandy-golden
From what I've gathered, seems like a big kid with good hands and athleticism, but he needs to work on his route running and he struggles with press coverage. |
He looks like what we thought Josh Doctson would be. A jump ball maniac

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Put 10-15+ lbs on him and make him an H-back / TE....he is strong 22 reps on the BP
|
NFL draft rounds 4-7
Please let Bryce Hall or Prince fall to us at 156. Please. Bryant and Adams still sitting there.

Totally. I like the nastiness. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
JP Finlay
@JPFinlayNBCS Yes Liberty is a small school, but in 2 games against ACC opponents Antonio Gandy-Golden went for 12 catches for 179 yards and a TD. He cooked Syracuse. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Solid feature on AGG just on the draft ...
Kid can do everything. Solve a Rubix cube in 1:09?? I could only solve a Rubix Cube by taking it apart. Full body. back twists?? Damn. Bowl a 300 game? Like this kid even more. And yeah ... Cam Sims' days are numbered. |

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Prince, Bryant, or Hall.
Maybe get 2 of them in the next 15 minutes or so. |

I wonder if other teams fans feel like ESPN always cuts to commercial or special segments right at our pick

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
I really would love a tight end this next pick just to give some young competition at the position
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Great pick. Looks like a definite contributor.
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
When it gets to this far in the draft it's the same for everyone. Not enough time for commercials, live picks, and analysis, as teams are on a shortened clock.

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Damn ... Jetties snagged Bryce Hall.

Yeah that sucks. I still want o line. Or Hunter Bryant. |

Prince here? Does anyone think we could flip a pick for Njoku, Howard, or Engram? Maybe the 3rd from the 9ers next year (which will probably be close to a 4th). |

Khaleke Hudson - LB

He’s a LB/CB/S hybrid |

He is not a OT or a TE though. :-) |

That was the first pick that felt like someone just picked a number out of a hat.

A lot to like there. And I LOVE that after he scores he just hands the ball to the ref. Riggo used to do that. It’s like saying, “Yeah, this is what I’d do done it before. Will do it again. Just doing my job.” Love that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
The last pick is pissing me off. Lol. Id usually think ST player but he has short arms and is slow? There were some highly rated tight ends and an OT from Washington there. Or just go fast for ST. I know its a late fifth rounder but....

Seems like a Bob Sanders hybrid S/LB |

Not sure how I feel about the last two picks. Seem like long shots.

They all are in the 5th round and later. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Golden did his thing against the Appalachian States of the world. I seriously doubt if that translates to making those plays against the athletes he will confront in the NFL. From my perspective, both of the "play makers" we drafted are used to playing against boys not men. I am having serious doubts about this draft. Yeah, I know Gary Clarke went to a small school. But the difference in the level of play in the "power conferences" versus the "also rans" is much greater nowadays.
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Gandy-Golden will be the productive big receiver we've been looking for. I love his skill-set and his athletic arrogance. Trust me, we're all gonna love this guy.

In two games against DI teams he had 179 yards and 2 TDs. He’s not an elite speed guy but if you watch his highlight he has great body adjustment toward the ball and I think will be an end zone threat. |
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Haven't we tried this "end zone threat" approach quite often in the past few years? Does not seem to have panned out very well.
|
Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
Prince. Hunter. Trey. All still out there.

I seriously think you're dead wrong about Golden and this draft. Somehow, you are always able to find the charcoal gray lining in a fluffy white cloud. How about giving the rest of us a few days to like our team? |

Re: NFL draft rounds 4-7
With TWs departure, and the picks this draft it is clear this is now RRs team. I think it is starting out on solid footing.
