Where's the apology to the Victims?
Snyder is clueless.

|
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
That's what passes for an apology in today's media and society. He's just playing the game.
typical anti media BS.
Julie Donaldsons tweet was spot on and not her story to break. WE the fans ran wild with speculation. This is on us and our need for TMZ style breaking news. WaPo report was well written and released properly.
No, we the fans didn't create the crazy speculation. It was sold to us by "journalists" on their Twitter. |

Show me the Media Report that Snyder and Epstein are linked. That's on the fans. "journalist" tweeting rumors isn't the boogeyman media you speak about. |

Will Snyder be pushed out?
How about just shut the fuck up and wait for the facts? Instead of the cryptic bullshit
Well first of all facts have gone by the wayside anyway (fake news) and everyone just believes what they want. So whats the point of waiting for facts. If u dont like them than they are lies anyway. Second of all what is the harm in speculation? This board is 90% speculation. A pre game thread is speculation. Might as well let Matty just post the game results and than we can read them and go to bed? How fuckin boring. Freedom of opinion, speech, speculation....It is how discussion happens. I really don’t see the harm. |

How about fans shutting the f*ck up and waiting for the actual report as well? And stop believing every f*cking yahoo online that claims to be in the know. |

Only Snyder would start acquiring sexual harassment claims The accusations aren't disputed and the majority of the people involved were fired or quit. |

Nobody is forcing you too believe anything lol. What is wrong with tending to believe a rumor or not believe a rumor? Should we delete this thread and wait to see if he is forced out? Might as well delete 80% of the threads. We are humans. We speculate. Last time you got this mad about speculation was when i said TW would never play for us again. Lol. If he did i woulda ate crow but their is no harm in speculation if you have a gut feeling about it. |

I don't think we are talking about the same thing. People are complaining about the speculations that were on Twitter and are blaming the media. I'm just saying it goes both ways. If you want to get hyped up and believe people that are probably not very credible (for instance, I have never heard of Harrison Weinhold), it's on you for believing that. Like you said, they are rumors. |

It's not even media speculation. Julie Donaldson said there was a story that was about to drop that was going to make the team look bad. 100% correct and 0% speculation. This caused the fans to lose their shit, INCLUDING ME! |

There was enough for both him and Santos to get fired though so what is being presented is not what they have in their internal documents I would think. |
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
Epstein stuff wasn't it started by a random person on reddit?
Does anyone have any actual links to any actual redskin reporters citing epstein? |

Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
What bothers me most about Snyder is he refuses to get up in front of the media and take some bullets. He just writes a lame statement, hires an attorney and let's his new HC deal with shit that happened before he got here. He just hides on his boat in Europe. I just can not stand him... he's weak, he's a coward, he's not a leader and has no spine.
|
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
At this point I don't blame snyddr, he is running the proper playbook for him.
Acknowledge but don't make any incriminating staements. If the internal reviews prove the facts, then apologize. It's not the 100% morally acceptable playbook but it's the right playbook for him at this time. |
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
For those comparing this to the Mavs and Cuban. As much as I dislike Sheehan, he's right about this:
@kevinsheehanDC Mark Cuban the day after sexual harassment allegations against his organization: "I didn't know and I don't have an explanation. I can give you lots of reasons but they don't matter. What matters is it was my responsibility and I have to be accountable for it." |
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
After this news and Dan's response I really am on the verge of saying Fuck this team. Still want to see what the new name / logo is.. Hopefully that isn't an embarrassment in it's own rights.

Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
Are there any other NFL franchises that have employees who are not privy to corporate confidential information sign non-disclosure agreements? I doubt it. It seems that Snyder prefers bullying, intimidation, belittling, threats of arbitrary termination, etc. backed up by iron-clad non-disclosure agreements for everybody to any form of people management. He is truly the Little King in his own mind.
The NFL should prohibit teams from forcing employees who do not have access to legitimate corporate secrets as part of their jobs to sign non-disclosure agreements. I'm always available if Roger Goodell needs any more ideas to improve the NFL. |
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
I don't think a non did closure agreement can legally cover criminal or discrimination matters as that would be consider unconscionable and beyond the scope of work.
Apartment buildings sometimes make people sign a waiver that they won't sue for personal injury on the premises but it has zero effect bc Maryland law says apartment buildings can't make you waive your rights and protections afforded to you under Maryland law. I don't know about employment confidentiality agreements at time of hire, I am making an educated guess employment confidentiality agreements i have read cover business practices, client lists and going to work for a competitor etc |

I agree. Snyder’s response was shitty. Unbiased investigation? You’ve therefore already signaled that what has been reported was a function of bias. How about saying we will subject ourselves to a thorough evaluation? He’s such a disaster. The hope this is his undoing with the league. Get a grownup in here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Ironically enough, Snyder is pretty far from an imposing figure. Short, squat little twerp. My kid sister could kick his ass. |
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
This story will cost this franchise more fans than a bad season. Snyder seems to be a heartless, perhaps clueless employer. He’ll do the right things for his expensive players, but he uses his wealth and lawyers to intimidate his lowly employees into silence.
I think that all aspects of this story MAY be the final coffin nail in Snyder’s ownership. This story makes the Redskins look bad and it makes the NFL looks bad. The other billionaire owners don’t care if Snyder runs down his franchise, if his team is a perpetual loser, but THEY DO CARE if he makes the NFL LOOK BAD. If he makes the NFL look like a sexist organization. I believe this story will be the first of many about the dysfunction of the Redskins organization. Others will come out. The press smells blood in the water. Snyder may not be able to slither out of this one or the ones to follow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hey hey hey. Some people do evolve and grow over time into better versions of themselves. Others for the worse. Clearly Dan Snyder is one of the latter ;D |

Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
Matty if this seems like an unnecessary thread because it is being discussed in other ones than 86 it. I think it is one of the bigger developments of the past 25 years and should have its own. Ill start the bidding with a resounding YES! He is ultimately responsible for the team, and especially the front office where this occurred. Couple that with his track record and I think he is an extremely bad look for the NFL.
Yes, it won't be fast or overnight and very quietly as to not embarrass the NFL but yes . It will be sold to Bezo's and on the contingent that the three minority owners stay ,it's the only way the NFL Owners will approve it. |
Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
My question is will fed ex or some other corporation and other sponsors attach their name to Snyder knowing this went on under his watch regardless of whether he was directly implicated? Seems like nobody would want to touch him at this point.

Re: Will Snyder be pushed out?
I think it's an easy call for the league to get rid of Snyder once and for all.
We can argue all the legalities involved but who cares? If the league wants him out he's out. Richardson, Sterling, Ray Rice... all these cases were iffy in a legal sense. But they embarrassed the league and they're gone, simple as that. Put it this way... If the league came out tomorrow and forced Dan to sell who would complain? I can't see one person on planet earth coming to his defense. Bruce and his inner circle are gone. His minority owners hate him. A city of millions despises him. The guy is on an island. With the name change and the Rivera hire, now is the perfect time to start a true clean slate. Fans may even start to come back. Make it happen NFL, it's a no-brainer. |

.........most people with a "Neapoleon Complex are". "Napoleon Complex" is a theorized inferiority complex normally attributed to people of short stature. It is characterized by overly-aggressive or domineering social behavior, such as lying about earnings, and carries the implication that such behavior is compensatory for the subject's physical or social shortcomings. |
