Re: Around the NFL week 11
Damn, this sucks for Burrow and the Bengals. It kinda sounds like the same knee injury RG3 had:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30374069/torn-acl-mcl-plus-more-knee-damage-cincinnati-bengals-qb-joe-burrow-sources-say
Man, that's fucked up. I assumed at least the MCL was torn too. But this sounds like it was worst case scenario. Hopefully he can recover. |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Brutal injury for Burrow, hopefully all goes well with his recovery.

Using ESPNs playoff predictor with current record as the choice gives us the division at 5-9-1. How said would that be.
More realistic is the Giants at 6-10. But it is pretty much a guarantee the divison won't be decided until week 17. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Re: Around the NFL week 11
Just saw this maybe it was posted somewhere else but Rip Jim Hanifan. This guy was great. Loved him on the Gibbs staff. The 91 oline was the best I've ever seen.

Pit Bal game postponed to Tuesday. Now in doubt. If they were to play it Tuesday, that would be a huge competitive advantage for us. Long week versus super short week. Steelers would still be heavily favored but the super short week may give us a puncher's chance. |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
49ers need to find a new stadium for their games against Buffalo next week and against us on 12/13 due to Covid restrictions in Santa Clara County. The games could be played at either the Old Oakland Coliseum or UC Berkeley Memorial Stadium.

https://es.pn/3mlkIt2
His last win was against.... [emoji35]. Honestly, good teams don’t let games like that get away. Until we beat someone decent (Dallas, Philly and Cincy are not), we should probably stay medium. So frustrated we blew that game and the two games against the Giants - all so winnable. I think that’s pretty messed up by the league not to move their game to Tuesday🤦🏻*♂️😡 I would be super pissed if I was a Broncos fan |

Vrabel played for Belicheck, I don't think he ever was a staff under Belicheck before. |

When you have QB group meetings without league mandated masks being worn, I'd suggest its glasshouses and stones if Broncos players/staff say anything about the league... |

Broncos definitely could've done more, some teams have their 3rd qb isolating from their top 2 just for this reason. I think Roger would've pushed the game back to Tuesday if the Broncos had an outbreak. But they don't, just 1 qb tested positive and 3 teammates were in close contact with him. Guessing that's not enough to push the game back in the NFL's view. The one takeaway I have from all this is that the WFT better be seeing these examples of teams getting screwed by not following the rules and strictly enforcing mask protocols. We might get fucked anyways since the Steelers are also having an outbreak and we play them in two weeks. Not to mention the 49ers are looking for a new home for our game since their county banned contact sports for 3 weeks. |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30413697/sources-denver-broncos-bid-start-assistant-coach-qb-denied-league
Undrafted practice squad wide receiver (former college qb) Kendall Hinton starting for the Broncos today after their request to have a coach start was denied. I can definitely see the NFL's view on this one, every NFL team would stash a retired qb on staff if the NFL allowed the Broncos to start a coach. ------------------------- https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/30410182/saints-fined-500k-docked-7th-round-pick-not-wearing-masks-week-9-postgame-celebrations Saints fined 500k and docked a 7th rounder for their postgame celebration without wearing masks (they are repeat offenders for Sean Payton not wearing a mask in week 2). Saints are appealing but probably gonna lose because the penalty is consistent with other covid repeat offenders. ------------------------- Eagles giving more first team reps to Jalen Hurts "The Eagles signed Wentz to a four-year, $128 million extension last summer. He carries a dead cap hit of nearly $60 million in 2021, per Spotrac, a number that falls to $39.5 million in the 2022 offseason." Man they really screwed themselves with that contract lol, dead cap hit of 60 mil in 2021 and 40 mil in 2022. Of course it won't matter if Hurts plays well but no way they get rid of Wentz soon. |
Re: Around the NFL week 11
Wow Burrow is better than I thought after watching this offense without him. Maybe thee worst offense I have ever seen.

If Brandon Allen is one of the top 100 quarterbacks in the world than there really aren’t a lot of good quarterbacks. Man that was terrible to watch.

Put it in the complaint box guy. Maybe upper management will listen. I mean is it really that bad ? We got bigger problems than week 11 vs week 12. Bottom line is the fuckin Bengals putrid burrowless team could have put us in the damn driver seat against Colt McCoy! |
