Fantastic win ... just absolutely fantastic.
Alex Smith is a warrior. His bleeding leg makes Curt Shilling's bloody sock look like a paper cut. But I hope I never see that again. I'm nervous whenever he gets hit. So many stand outs ... Logan Thomas. Dayum son. Cam Sims - welcome to the NFL. Moreland -- way to step up. Kamren Curl -- keep fighting young man. And that D-Line ... gets stronger as the game goes on. Wait til Chae Young figures it out completely. And Montez Sweat - it's almost not fair. And we're doing this WITHOUT Matt Ioannides. The future looks bright boys! |

And I though Andy Reid wearing a cheerleaders panties on his face last night was the best thing I would see in football this week. Bartender a round for the house please. Nice win!:food-smil

We still need to add at TE, but glad he is here Kam Curl...the goal line stand it was 2nd down, he come into the hole one on one with Snell and stopped him. Curl is playing better than Collins did, that’s not embellishment, he is seriously playing better than Collins was by far. Jeremy sprinkle on the fumble...dude, brah, bro, partner....you gotta get that. |

How bout that goal line stand we had? Think that we punted and they scored pretty quick right after it but man it was a thing of buuu-tay.

Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
I picked WFT, but if you told me they lost Gibson early, were down 0-14, didn't have a sack, and McLaurin only had two catches, I would say no way in hell they won.
Unbelievable effort. Awesome win. On to SF. |
Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
Steelers trying to throw like that looks weak. They need to run the ball...they look soft af trying to be something they not
|

Ben shouldn’t be throwing 50 times, dude has a noodle arm now.
SF looks bad |
Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
Stoked!! Such a Great win!!
C. Sims is a player Sweat and Young will be a problem for years to come. Barber had another solid underrated game. Hopkins with two CLUTCH FG’s. Kudos to Darby, and Fuller. They got beat a few times but kept playing Would’ve helped If Seattle beat NYG yesterday, but this was such a great team win! |

SF has a better offense than the Steelers, pretty good running game and receivers, it won’t be easy. SF is tough. |

The 49ers are scrappy don’t underestimate them, our D needs to play like the last 2 games. If there is a team I hate with a passion, it’s the 49ers. I want to kick their fucking ass, FUCK SHANARAT AND TW!!! |

No game is easy but I have to disagree about SF having a better O than Pitt. Big Ben and those Pitt wr’s > Mullens and his crew. I dont even think it is close. I hate to get cocky but I am not nearly as worried about them on either side of the ball as I was about Pitt. |

WFT has been lucky in that regard. Gotta think that Ron's cancer really forced the team to take the precautions uber seriously. Hope they keep it up. |

49ers receivers are legit, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Bourne, Reid, their fullback, Mostert, Wilson and others. They have a potent offense despite missing Kittle. They usually don’t lay two bad eggs week to week, they’ll be desperate like us to win. Should be a hell of a game. |

I think you are going to get your wish, but trust me it is going to take alot more than one big win for me to underestimate anyone. Just think that we match up better with SF on Offense and Defense. The fact that we are actually playing for something is really a plus. Motivation is key. They want the division. |

Yeah me too. It only takes one guy to let his guard down and look out. It would definitely be Sprinkle or Apke. Lol. |
Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
Wow that was our first win vs a team with ten plus wins in 13 years. Basically we do not beat good teams.
|
Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
lets be honest. we caught the steelers at the right time. not to take anything away from what we did but even the oddsmakers were on this game cause the spread was only 6. an undefeated 11-0 team at home playing a 4-7 team that has a below average offense would be a 8 or more point spread. but none the less a great win and a lot of guys played really well. we have got to get cam sims more involved. do we have a budding te in thomas????

we'll be seeing our old friends in Trent and Reed. other former redskins playing well in Morris, Colt and of course Kirk... :-( |

I honestly believe that Thomas could be a legit number one TE. I don't know where he stands with route running, but I don't remember him dropping passes, he seems to catch everything thrown his way, he is a willing/effective blocker. Not to mention he is big, athletic, and fast. 6'6", 250+, 4.6-40... Looking forward to seeing him continue to grow. |
Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
I was soooooo HAPPY that we knocked off the Steelers in their own stadium!!!
I have just seen so many Monday night games in the last 20 years where this team has CRAPPED OUT and embarrassed themselves on National tv! Not just lose but lose big!! Another major irritant has been seeing 30, 000 Steelers fans FLOOD FedEx field and essentially make it a home game with their F——ing yellow towels. I remember when Snyder tried to replicate the “terrible towel” idea, but they could only get WHITE towels versus Burgundy and/or gold. The white towel idea didn’t even last more than one game. Finally, I am excited because this team, still missing some talent in many positions, has been able to come back. Reverse a game against an ELITE TEAM mostly using guts and determination. The WFT Come back against a team when the first half was largely a blowout. INCREDIBLY - The defense stopped 4 plays inside the three yard line. It wasn’t a perfect win - I thank the Pittsburgh receivers who dropped 6 passes. But we had some drop also - yeah, that means you Steve Sims! I hope Gibson can come back because he is just an outstanding component of this offense. Cam Sims wins the game ball because of three critical pass catches for large gains - including one short pass that he YACed into a big gain. Both McKissic and Cam Sims filled the hole of left by Gibson’s hurt toe and them double-teaming Mc Laurie into oblivion. Yeah, this game was freaking great! Keep it going!!
