Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
The defense better be ready to rock, the gauntlet of top QB's we'll be facing looks rough.

Allen, Rodgers, Wilson. Our 3 "unique" matchups are the 3 front runners for MVP. The 4th candidate Brady we all play. steel sharpens steel. lets go |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Holy sh*t, did someone put a curse on the Ravens?
@AdamSchefter Ravens fear that RB Gus Edwards suffered a season-ending torn ACL during today's practice, per source. @RapSheet From NFL Kickoff Early Edition: The #Ravens likely lost two more stars for the season, as RB Gus Edwards and CB Marcus Peters are feared to have torn their ACLs in practice today. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Bloodbath in Baltimore
CB Peters also injured today in practice per Schefter Folks, Dobbins shoulda never played that last meaningless preseason game |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
By that logic, I guess Gus Edwards and Marcus Peters should have never taken the practice field today either, right?
|

Edwards and Peters are just bad luck. But having JK Dobbins in the last preseason game was just stupid IMO. Especially around this narrative of their "preseason winning game streak." |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
It's all bad luck. It's the NFL, it's football, injuries happen in games, in practice, due to violent collisions, and due to no contact at all.
Shit Happens. You just never know where or when. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Injuries is part of football, it is just what it is.
It sucks tho, I have Ravens defense for my dynasty team and Edwards for one FFL team. |

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
We have had many seasons start off with multiple injuries... Too bad for them but they have had years of good fortune.. F them
|

If they never practiced they never would've torn their ACL's. There's only one solution. The league needs to abolish practice. What if we switch to a format where these athletes work menial day jobs during the week and get together to play some football on Sundays? |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Damn, football gives no fucks.
Shitty for the Ravens. Feel bad for Gus. Finally gets a chance to get most of the carries and life fucks him before game 1. |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Cowboys Corners… especially Brown, can’t cover. Nickel Lewis got beat bad for the TD
|
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Dak is legit.
|

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Tampa running backs killing them.
Dak has looked solid, but he just threw a red zone int that was dropped |

CB Brown has been getting killed all night
|
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
I’m a little behind in the Dallas game but wtf, damnit Fournette catch the fricking ball!
Unfortunately Dallas is looking pretty good |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Lets not forget Dallas is losing this game despite 2 back to back RedZone turnovers by the Bucs though.

Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk[/quote] I am at the two minute warning right now, so I don’t know if Dallas going to score on this drive or not. I was hoping Dak Would look rusty but he looks pretty damn good, yeah he’s missed a couple of passes but he still looks good. I’m surprise that nobody’s mentioning (commentators)the non-presence of Elliot,He’s been pretty much a non-factor |
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
That last series by Dallas was the first time the Dallas OL seemed to fall apart, start wondering about conditioning of the two teams.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
One commentator pregame pointed out that the 5 teams that beat Tampa last year basically abandoned the run game because the front was so dominant. Basically the qbs in those games threw 50+ times. Dallas looks to be following that.

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
It’s just amazing how good Brady looks at 44 years old,the guy is from another dimension
|
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Dak has really impressed tonight. One bad throw he got away with, but he’s been sharp. Dallas Oline has handled the Bucs most the night as well.

Dallas offense is great we all know that , defense still has big holes on the back end. DBs are bad
|
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Dak # 1 qb under pressure Past two years, I didn’t know that, and not a stat that I wanted to hear
|
Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Brady to Gronkowski is as great a QB-TE connection as ever existed in the NFL

Re: Around the NFL: Week 1
Yea....Dallas o looks good, even with a total lack of run. I'm sitting here trying to hate on them...but their game planning is solid against the bucs. Brady is just Brady, rgough. That shot to Antonio brown was a thing of beauty.

Dallas catching that all important L is all I wanna see

Member when a 40+ year old qb throwing a td pass was a noteworthy occasion to be celebrated? Vinny Testaverde remembers. |
