It was only one touchdown ???? You gotta be kidding me, first game at new home and they do that, where was that team last week on a 1pm east coast start?

A lot can change between now and when we play them though, so it's anyone's guess how our D will perform.[/quote]

Based on we were a offside from being 0-2 and have the worlds greatest defense on paper but have failed to come close to being good .. and the Cowboys looked good in there loss and won today ..unless the D wakes up I see us last in this division.. maybe 6 wins .. hope they get it fixed

Right now we are 1-1 like Dallas and Philly. That is reality. LA didn't play near as crisp as last week and Dallas had a 10 day mini bye plus game film that we didn't have.

Our D will get better but right now our offense at least looks capable to put up points as well.

Let's let the season play itself out, none of the NFC East teams look uber dominant at this point and we have a round robin at the end to sort it all out.

This response contributed nothing. So if you want to say shit like this, then I'll respond accordingly.

You have a right to say whatever you want, you don't have a right to expect no response. Don't start no shit there won't be no shit.

To confirm, I hate Dallas more than the Giants/Eagles combined. I hope I am wrong. It hurts me to say it, but imo, they look like the best team in the division so far. But it's only been 2 weeks. Here's to us beating Buffalo and everyone else in our division looking like shit in week 3.

Go Redwolves!

It's hard to crown any team the best in anything, except for Tampa Bay and maybe the Chiefs (although the Ravens just scored on them as I am typing this).

We're beefing about football takes on a football forum?

This is how low the threshold for getting upset at someone is? Be better.

You can't let KC have the ball last in a 1 score game. Right down the field, and doesn't even look like they're trying hard.

And as I say that, fumble lol.

Mahomes makes it look so effortless. The gap between us and the best teams is real and it's big.

If Edwards-Helaire doesn't fumble that game is on ice.

While I am not comparing WFT to the Chiefs, the two play 75yd TD drive by Heinike looked effortless. Far too easy for many Giants fans lol. That is the sort of QB play we have been missing for some time, the ability to strike quickly. Offensively I like the way we look right now, just run the ball a bit more.

The difference is Mahomes does it consistently. He also stays healthy too.

Heinicke could be great - if he can make those plays every week and stay healthy too. He just has to prove it.

He needs time in the offense, staying healthy of course, to see if he expands his game. If he does, he could take over the starter role easily. Sucks for Fitz.

Been saying it as well, he's RG3 with just stronger legs.. In fact Griffin may have been the more accurate thrower

After 2 weeks, Derek Carr has to be the early MVP fave... That dude is straight balling. He'll cool off I'm sure but good for him

Re: Around the NFL Week 2

Just a bit of a musing after seeing some of the action so far, but there don't seem to be any 'complete' teams at this point. Caroline and Denver have been consistent but very reliant on their D's, TB have come out offensively pretty much how they ended last year but their D is looking weaker (25 points to the Falcons?) and the other 2-0 teams all have had their struggles. I'm wondering if the reduction to 3 PS games and/or the 2 weeks gap after the 3rd PS game has made a difference?

Raiders with 2 big wins to start the season and Carr has been the reason.

Their defense too has been good. They handled 2 running attack centered offenses.

If Taylor can improve a few things ( high ball ) he certainly has the moxy, confidence, swagger, and seems to see the field and understands the playbook .. only time will tell ..

If you're the Ravens do you give Lamar a new contract? To me it is a no brainer. He makes that team better.

Yeah…it’s important tho to keep that Greg Roman scheme there as he will be limited in others. The threat of him running is a defining portion of his game

Yeah people get cranky about his playing style or that he's not a great pocket passer, but he just wins. Gotta pay him.
