Heinicke was listed as a full participant in practice. Said his knee is fine; elbow feels worse than the knee. Said there's some bruising, but it didn't hurt when he was throwing the ball.

As of now McLaurin and Sims look to be out, Samuels is, well..., the backup TE looked like he couldn't catch a football last weekend, the majority of the O-line (as of right now) is questionable or out, and a couple of those dudes were backups, Gibson's dealing with fumblitis and McKissic questionable...

No threat of the pass with the top two receivers out, the QB limited, and banged up O-line = no running game more than likely.

If you think the offense has looked bad the past couple weeks (I think they had less than 30 yards in the first half against a bad Dallas defense), you might not want to watch this weekend. It could get real ugly.

Has anyone seen who the backup QB is going to be if Allen can't go?

The only way we win this game is if the Eagles players are so scared that they'll catch COVD from our squad that they decide not to get anywhere near them, leaving us with an unimpeded path to the endzone. And even then it might be close. Seriously, we have 18 guys on the COVID list and already had a bunch of guys on IR or likely out for this week. I don't see how we have any chance to win this game. And that's crap -- the league shouldn't force any team to play under those kind of circumstances. It doesn't make for competitive football, and it has the prospect of altering the post-season. Put this weekend on ice, let guys quarantine and get this under control. With Omicron, it likely won't get better if they don't anyway.

Could be good news for Washington in new NFL Covid protocols: asymptomatic vaccinated players that test positive can come back possibly with just one negative test. Maybe that helps for this weekend, as most of Washington’s 21 players on Covid list are vaccinated and asymptomatic
