My prediction is the punishment gets upped to 8 games and that's it.

I was thinking the NFL asks for 17 and gets 12.

The NFL is appealing Deshaun Watson’s six-game suspension.

Buckle up.[/quote]

Good.

I too am on board with the NFL appealing. Hope for 12, lucky if they get 8.

It should be a year, but yeah, I doubt he gets more than 8 or 9.

Tom Brady is 45 years old and is still playing QB in the NFL. That shit is just insane.

@JeffDarlington
I'm told NFL is appealing for an indefinite suspension that would be a minimum of one year. But perhaps more significant given the structure of Watson's contract, source tells me the NFL's appeal will also include a monetary fine. Money is now a significant part of the equation.

Yeah the NFL will shoot for the moon, looks good for public perception, Watson will appeal and likely receive a few more games, maybe a fine.

This is good point, but damn he stays in shape. I just remember how flimsy Peyton’s arm was at the end…I was embarrassed for Manning. I mean he was still better than Eli at that point, but damn

I agree Manning lost his arm strength - but on the flip side he gave it his all for what, 15 years before that? And he was still good enough to get the job done to win another title. Many wish they could go out like that.

We're gonna get an announcement in approximately 30 seconds... the NFL is now banning 4 games for testing positive for ayahuasca.

I’m going up to Skins training camp and mixing the Gatorade buckets for the day. This is how we lift the Snyder bad vibes from the field…a spiritual journey with ayahuasca.

Roquan Smith officially requests a trade. He is pissed and wants out asap.

Would probably take a 1st rounder. He would instantly improve our lbs bigtime.

He'd instantly be the best LB on the team, but I don't know if I'd give up a 1st. He would likely be a 1-year rental. We have too many dudes to pay.

It will be interesting to see where he lands.

I like him but not enough to give up our 1st round pick. We could easily have a pick in top 5 if things don't go well with Wentz.

How about R.Smith straight up for J.Davis and D.Payne? Would you go for that?

We didnt have a top 5 pick with Heineke playing a more difficult schedule. Even if things "Dont work out" we wont be a top 5 worst team in the league. So if we had to give up a first rounder for a 25 year old all pro at the position we are weakest at, if he is willing to resign I am not against it

More importantly: would they give out a 1st ? My answer is clearly no. LB has been an obvious huge need from the start of the offseason, and they didn't address it until this week, bringing in a low profile guy. They are not going to suddenly completely change their minds and go big on a LB IMO.

To Smith is a badass but he fired his agent and wants to be the highest paid LB in the league. At the LB position and our upcoming contracts, I’d pass…

LOL.

New Broncos owner is clearly a football guy. Thanks Commissioner Goodle.

Which begs the question - is it better to have an owner that loves football or an owner that bought the franchise as an investment opportunity and has clearly never watched pro football before?

Can't believe that the Broncos situation could not get resolved the way that Pat Bowlen wanted it to. All his kids fighting over who should own the team and what not. I guess all that cash can get passed around to all of his kids. 4.6 billion dollars is a lot of damn money.
