Been keeping tabs on other QB options we coulda traded, taken or traded up for…and most haven’t been good:
Baker Mayfield - just a guy Mitch Trubisky - a career backup Russ Wilson - disappointing so far. He has lost a bit as a passer. Justin fields - what a disaster, he’s been terrible. Haskins looked better at the same point Jimmy G - just a guy too, but I’d take Baker over him Jamies Winston - same ole guy, bad decisions and turns the ball over too much Matty Ice - disappointing so far, the difference is we aren’t on the hook for Carson as guaranteed money is done after this year, Colts are on the hook for 35 mil next year too for ICE…that’s a lot of meph for Irsay
So yeah, we got the best available QB at the time. I guess we can credit Rivera and the FO for this one. |

We knew we were getting a middle of the pack QB that can generate a lot of offense, but you can't have below average o-line, and TE play and expect an elite performance from him. |

Moving this to a different thread.

Early on, the Giants' offensive coordinator is calling a game in which Turner should be mimicking. Quick tosses and screens to negate pressure.

Wentz wouldn't of been able to do it, cement feet and lack of awareness. |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
I fucking hate that the NFL doesn't allow 2 games to be on at 1 and 2 at 4. At least 1 of the time slots is always empty. Only get 3 games instead of 4. How is that good for the league?

Ceedee lamb with one of the worse big play drops I’ve ever seen
He isn’t a no 1 |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
Good for Saquon Barkley - coming back from a brutal injury has got to be rough. And he looks stout. Would love to see the Cowboys lose this one (and every one).
Daboll has his team pretty fired up…. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

He isn’t a no 1
He just made up for that on this drive. We ain’t beating Dallas either btw lol. That defense is legit and rush plays smart football. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
Giants with two huge drops on what would've been first downs may be their undoing.

Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
If Danny dimes wasn’t able to run the way he does, he would be sacked quite a bit. Just think what’s going to happen to cement feet next week. A sack record might be set.

Jones nearly had 80 yards rushing and he did a fairly good job evading the rush most of the night. The problem is the Giants isn't too talented at the wideout position. A position that got thinner with Shepard now out for the season after his injury on the last play of the game. |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
What frustrates me is seeing teams function with Jacoby Brissett, Geno Smith, Marcus Mariota, Mitch Trubisky or Cooper Rush at the helm, and yet we've found a legit starter and can't seem to put a team ready to play on the field...
|
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
The cowboys being able to go 2-0 Vs the Bengals and Giants with Cooper Rush tells you how much further along they are than our sorry franchise. We can’t even win games with a starting QB

And don’t tell me it’s talent lol those teams are not that much better than us. The issue is coaching, ours suck and they all have better coaches than us period. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Coaching!! Atlanta gets no respect from anyone, but you watch they will surprise many teams. I think Arthur Smith (Another former Washington assistant) is a very good coach and has that team pointed in the right direction. |

Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
We have a lot of talent on this team !! We don’t have a head coach that can bring out the best in them !! I was a RR supporter till he started throwing his players under bus .. how about throwing Del Rio under a bus !! It’s one lame excuse after another … he won’t get fired , JDR won’t get fired .. we are stuck in a sinkhole of despair …

Be interesting to see if the attendance and viewership tank, even more than previously obviously, after this latest embarrassment. There was a sense of optimism by many, yes not all, about this season and these last two games may have beaten the last vestiges of hope out of the fanbase, certainly I am close to not giving a crap anymore |

My buddy sent me pics of the salute to service hoodies and unless someone buys one for me , I won’t get one for myself. I’m done buying this teams gear in fact I only have 1 Commanders shirt anyway. Losing sucks and I honestly don’t care anymore. I enjoy watching other games more than ours and it’s been like that for a few years. Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 3
Justin Fields stat line for week 3: 8-for-17 with 106 yards and two picks and a passer rating of 27.7
If we didn't have our own QB issues I'd almost feel bad for the Bears |
