AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
On a football note, How about Kirk and the Viks?? Who saw 5-1 coming for them?
Yeah. They haven’t played anyone except Philly and they got stomped. But 5-1 is 5-1. Right now KC and Buffalo are in a class by themselves. Philly hasn’t played anyone either. Totally agree 1000 percent about Howell. Though NE probably in a better position to groom a young quarterback than us. Still I would play him. Wentz has been so erratic and Taylor is who he is. Stubborn Ron will never play Howell unless injuries necessitate it. Good chance that happens with our oline. |

Setting up a 1st round playoff choke perfectly. |
Zappe is the prime example of why Sam Howell should play. He looks like a legit QB out there
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It helps having Belichick as his coach. At this point, I don't trust Rivera and Turner to foster Howell's growth. |

Also, they will likely be 12-0, I really don't see any of the next 6 teams beating them. |

My brother in law said the samething yesterday, in the NFC which is a soft conference, Iggles should lose 1 maybe twice |
Seminoles too.
The Indians and Redskins were just pussies and caved..
I agree in general but Redskin is a derogatory word. Braves and Chiefs are pretty generic references to NA, You could just change the logos to firefighters and it would be all good. Seminoles is a tribe that is local to FSU. Indians had that fucked up logo. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chief_Wahoo |

Oddly, I live north of Baltimore and my local target had a whole Commanders section of stuff, I almost bought a mini helmet but $35, meh.

With the way the fan base is deteriorating you could get a game used one for $35 |
Rodgers looks like he just doesn’t care.
I don’t understand how there is no accountability with the front office, they do a bad job
He is not good this year in any metric and while intelligent he is slow to adjust. Look at the 4th and 2 that sealed the game against the Giants. NY couldn't stop the run to save their lives and Daboll knew this. He also knows Rodgers checks out of runs to pass when there are 8 men in the box so what did the Giants do to force Rodgers to throw? put 8 men in the box knowing that the Packers would go away from what was working for them. Right now they are telegraphing offensive play calling just as bad as we are. |

Chargers powder blue w/ the gold pants are hands down the best uniform in sports.

They are beautiful. UCLA has some beautiful ones too. Same basic colors. |

His name is awesome. I hope he becomes a staple. Summo will need to create a Wildgoose shirt. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm a Noles fan. FSU has amazing helmets. And amazing uniforms before Nike got ahold of them. I still like their uniforms but I don't love them like I used to. But yeah, FSU has great uniforms too. The CO Buffaloes have great uniforms too. Having gold in the color scheme definitely makes having great uniforms easier. |

Dustin Hopkins kicks better on one leg with La than he ever did for us. Our franchise is cursed

You guys think Turner sucks as an OC, Lombardi was terrible tonight, shitty play calling.

Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
Denver is awful. They spent all that money and picks on Wilson and they are 2-4 Lolol thank god he said no to playing in Washington.
The chargers are legit on D but the OL sucks and WRs are average. They won’t make the playoffs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
It's so unsurprising that Hopkins simply can't miss now. Dude is money because he doesn't play for us.

Well he has only kicked beyond 40 yards twice all year. It helps when your offense can get to the red zone regularly. I mean in 2020 with us he attempted 21 kicks over 40 yards that is where his leg fails. |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
The NFL has some serious QB issues.. Look around the league.
Teams that need a QB WAS ATL INDY CAR SEA (Geno is not the answer) NO DEN?? CHI?? I mean its bad folks and this draft class has 3 potential good ones but it's not deep. That is why we need to see what 14 can do as soon as possible |

Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
I think Pete Carroll knew all along that letting Wilson try to be Rodgers, or " let Russ cook" probably wasn't a good idea. When Seattle was at their best it was because they had a dominant running game. Russ needs that in order to be at his best.
Watching him last night he can't move around as well as he use to. Maybe it's that he is older and lost a bit of a step. He use to crush defenses w/ his legs. Doesn't seem like that's the case anymore. |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
Ron is in win now mode
Ron needs to win or he's out. If Howell was a first rounder or hell even a second rounder, I could see the argument to let him play. But he's not. As much as I'm going to hate seeing TH out there, you don't throw in the towel at 2-4. Besides, with this o-line and his play style, TH may not last long. I just hope Turner adjusts his offense and we don't see long pass attempts that end up being wounded ducks that go incomplete or picked off. |
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
Indy now 3-2-1 and Matt Ryan just threw the ball 200 times against the Jags.. Maybe the old guy still has some left in the tank.
|
Re: AROUND THE NFL WEEK 6
Rough start for Denver and Wilson. Reportedly, Wilson may have a hamstring injury too. His mobility has regressed I've seen lately, which is common when qbs get older of course. Looking like Carroll winning this trade so far.

Right now Quarterback is the least of the worries in Seattle. |
