Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
We know what Heinicke's ceiling is - and that's why they're rolling with Wentz. We have greater goals than Heinicke's feel good story about a scrappy undrafted qb winning games with game-manager play.

Dawg pound Pre Game thread
The problem is Wentz was bad besides week 1… if we get Week 1 CW we could be a scary Wildcard team. But the problem is… we don’t know what Version will show up. Yeah he looked good Saturday but the game was also out of reach pretty much. We will see what he’s made of Sunday with the playoffs on the line

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The problem with Heinicke is that he is somehow better for the team, but we still don't score. The upside with Wentz is way higher. And we can't lose our 2nd round pick anymore, so let's see what Wentz can do. My opinion comes down to this question: What QB is the most likely option to catch a crazy hot streak? We basically can't lose again this season. Any loss likely pushes us out of the playoffs or means we lose our 1st playoff game. Heinicke did his job the best he could. This year was as good as we will ever get from him. Let's let Wentz try to strike gold. Note - I didn't see him play on Saturday, where I was watching closed before he came in, so my opinion is not based on that extremely limited sample size. |
Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
We need to find out what hotel the browns are staying and send a “handful” of paid tuggers to go over there the night before kickoff and get to Watson room. He must be fiending since the nfl threw cold water on his throbby hobby.

At least you're polite about it though.
I don’t think we will be able to get in as you guys beat us and have the tiebreaker. |
Yeah, with the Ravens' third string QB.
Huntley is their 2 but point taken he is not Lamar. Regardless after the last month I don’t have faith in the qb play to feel comfortable saying we should win this game. |

Real as in a SB contender? I don't think so. Plus they always find a way to have an epic collapse come playoff time. |

Who do you guys think will win the Super Bowl. |

The 49ers will probably beat them. |

49ers vs Bills 9ers |

Dallas may win a playoff game because they’ll play Tampa but they won’t beat SF in the 2nd round

We have no chance unless Snyder sells the team in the off-season, Howell becomes a good QB, we replace basically the whole offensive line, and add a couple pieces on defense. |

thought is we are more than a year away from serious contention but that is as of now... that can change during the off-season, |
Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
We're a QB and some upgrades on the OL away from being in the conversation as a serious SB contender.

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
What seems to be the problem with Washington? What do they need to add in order to be a good team.

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Definitely need qb and o line. Defensive output is so hard to predict year to year hard to look at defense now and predict what they will do next year

Your defense held us to zip. We couldn’t do anything against your D. |

Got this for My Bday and man it’s a sharp jersey! It’s my 2nd Terry jersey but the patches really stand out. My first time seeing one in person. |

I don’t understand with that Tough D why aren’t the Commanders winning? Is it the QB play or O line? |

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
I really think Washington could have a great team if they improve the O line. I could see them being the 2000 Ravens in the next couple years.
|
Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
It’s always been strategy of mine to improve the O while using the Tough D

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
You need a truly dominant defense to win in spite of your QB.
This isn't that type of defense. |

The 2000 Ravens were an all time great defense. Brad Johnson wasn't exactly a slouch at QB. And that Bucs D was much better than this one. |
Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
A good defense prevents you from losing. Offense wins games. Can’t win without offense

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
SF has a SB defense but I still don’t believe purdy can win it for them

Re: Dawg pound Pre Game thread
Our defense is solid but it’s not a “Dominant defense” by any means.
Our LBs are average at best and the Secondary is good but not lock down. With CY back I hope we can actually create TOs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

He's by far their best player, and you cannot allow their best player to beat you (as we've seen the previous two weeks). An early lead would be great. Hopefully Gibson's foot is ok; it looks like he's questionable at the moment. No reason why we shouldn't win this game. |

The Commanders have given a return-to-practice designation to TE Armani Rogers and CB Tariq Castro-Fields. |
