Re: Browns Postgame L
I predict that next week is the latest time Wentz suits up for an nfl game and the latest time Rivera coaches one. What’s waste.

Go Green Bay! I'm not joking either.

It doesn’t matter lol. Right now we are playing about as poorly as almost anyone. We are now entering the burn it all down phase again under Snyder. |
Re: Browns Postgame L
At least my ‘Noles got to ten wins and are heading in the right direction.
Let me introduce you to Norv Turner.
Nope. Ron has more losing seasons. 9 out of 12. Norv was 7 out of 13 with two .500 seasons. Pound for pound Ron kills him in losing seasons. |

Well Norv is one of Rons influences/mentors, so it shouldn't be too surprising that their records are so similar |

Welp our season is officially over. Time to start Howell and see if he can do anything

Re: Browns Postgame L
Dallas will be playing for something. If Howell looks better than Taylor and Carson (it is almost impossible to look worse) than ya really gotta wonder if the staff is aware of anything because we just lost three games in a row because of the two bum quarterbacks we played.
If he looks just as bad than they are still idiots for going into the year with this quarterback room. In summary Ron Rivera is a dipshit regardless of what happens next week. |
Re: Browns Postgame L
Ron isn't going anywhere folks. Even if Dan were to keep the team I doubt he'd fire Ron simply because of money. He still owes Ron 2 more years and Scott was extended. I don't think Dan is one of the owners that has endless cash lying around. I believe we are stuck w/ Ron for it least one more year.

They both suck. Neither one is starting material. Taylor gets a pass because he came from nowhere, costs next to nothing, is a great story, and we didn’t give up picks for him. But he isn’t just below average he is bottom of the league average. It doesn’t matter that he is better than Wentz. My daughter is better than Wentz. |

LOL! Some minor league mascot bs. This smells of some Jason Wright shenanigans. They must sit around and ask how in the fuck can we embarrass what is left of our fans this week. Gotta give them credit they keep outdoing themselves. Every time I think i've seen rock bottom they just keep on diggin. |

I can now watch the condensed version of that meaningless game and enjoy an extra 2 hours of free time next week! This has to be one of the most embarrassing season ending in franchise history. |
Re: Browns Postgame L
I have 2 conditions for my continued fandom. Snyder gone. Coaching staff gone. Fifty years I’ve followed this team and I’ve had enough. Reboot or I’m out.
Maybe losing today was for the best - otherwise, we could have Dallas i here blowing us out new week to clinch the NFCE and knock us out which would have been really hard to take. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not for Ron, she knows damn well if she waits he will offer a-lot more! |
Re: Browns Postgame L
I forgot to mention - Watson threw for 23 yards in the first half, 4 sacks. Second half 3 TD drives - obv their staff figured out what they needed to do better and did it. JDR gets an F for that second half D.

Re: Browns Postgame L
Looks like our Draft will be somewhere between 12-16 .. depending on us losing next week which I’m sure we will .
I’m looking forward to the sale! I hope once that happens things will improve .. without the sale I’m not going to be able to keep my interest up in this team ..Snyder is poison to this franchise . |
Re: Browns Postgame L
My question looking ahead, how fucking fast can Dan get these bids done and close the sale?
My hope is this closes quick, the owner has a team come in fire every last person associated with the team and a new administration is brought in before next year. Hopefully Ron and his folks aren’t here for a lame duck season next year. |
Re: Browns Postgame L
I forgot to mention - I've been opposed to starting Howell because I still believe anyone with a brain knows it takes more than a season for a 5th round rookie qb to learn the pro game (wunderkind QB's named Purdy excluded). In light of the fact that our game next week is meaningless I give up - start whoever you want Ron. I trust your eye on game film, if you think he's ready I think he's ready. The only difference it will make is wondering if we need to replace 2/3 qb's for next year or 3/3 qb's. Because if he sucks we're all gonna be on here talking about how we don't have a single quality qb on the roster.

Re: Browns Postgame L
I want to see Howell play next week. No point in playing Wentz anymore, might as well try and see how Howell plays.

I can’t believe Ron said that today. Lmao “We can be eliminated today”?

He is already obviously clueless. Publicly admitting you have no idea about the playoff scenarios of your own team just amplifies that. It isn’t exactly trigonometry. There are like a handful of teams fighting for a playoff spot. How the hell do you not realize one of them winning could end your season after you lost three in a row? Did he think they had 8 wins? Its just fuckin oblivious Ron. Nobody is saying he should worry about what he can’t control but you gotta know the scenario there. It sort of involves ur job? U lose, GB wins and its season over. It just screams obliviousness man. |
Re: Browns Postgame L
Start Howell. Totally meaningless game. Throw him to the wolves. See if can handle it. Dallas will be about a tough as an assignment as it gets- if Dallas needs the game.
Please do not start Wentz. He is done here. No need to play him. Deactivate him. |

5 games this team has managed to score over 20 points… FIVE..
That won’t win many games unless you have a top 5 defense and we don’t. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Re: Browns Postgame L
Honestly this losing streak shows where this franchise is ; hopefully it pushes everyone out and we get a restart with new owner and new leadership
HTTR! |

Of all the decisions he's made, not being aware of potential scenarios in case we lose is one of them. He was probably shell-shocked that we put up a dud in the biggest game of the year. |
