Just bothers me. 91% of abortions occur in the first thirteen weeks and saying most Americans support those is an accurate statement. But they report it like this in the news "most Americans support most [B]or all abortions[/B] - still an accurate statement because they do support most abortions. However a vast majority don't support all abortions they just are tucking that bit in with what most do support. (Apologize for posting this in the wrong thread).

I mean I think most reasonable Americans would agree the only third trimester abortions that should be allowed are ones where the infant or mother's life is in danger. I thought the old method of allowing abortions up to 20-25 weeks (I would support real science/medicine on the matter and not faux-political scientists with an agenda) was fine but obviously there are certain hardliners really pushing the agenda now. Some prominent anti-abortion group with over a million members is pushing Trump to commit to a national ban, otherwise they won't support him.

Most American's would agree (although they'd want an earlier cut off than the 3rd). But that is my point the media won't report that, and on the contrary will imply most support all abortions (by bundling in all abortions with most abortions). Unfortunately, the Dems position is now all abortions (which is probably why the media report the story like they do).

The honest answer from the left is they believe certain views shouldn’t be given space and then they work to expand the scope once they can entrench agreed upon outlier. This is why you saw -in writing from internal twitter company emails - a strategy where they used the pandemic as the vehicle. You had consultants and executives say “even though this speech is fact…it’s still problematic and should be censored.”

Think about that, documented in the Twitter files releases. If you think this was the correct way to run a social media space, that’s a problem
