on a side note, that kid Nabers that Daniels was throwing dimes to, he is going to be a problem. He is a flat out baller. What a great combination those two were at LSU.

Nobody Daniel Jones has to get the ball to is going to be a problem. Lol.

Jones would be the MVP of the league if he got to play us every week. We'll see, big year for Jones. But no doubt a terrible contract they gave him. Should have just let him walk and let Tyrod Taylor play. Jones isn't any better, may be worse than Taylor.

Great pick by the Giants. Nabers is going to make them better right away.

With DQ at the helm, I think his success will end against us

And Joe Whitt as well. He just seems like the kind of guy that if you play defense, you want to play for that guy.

Nearly everyone forget he has taken a team to the SB before.

DQ gets to coach under a competent owner, which is the biggest advantage he will have over any coach that has been part of this team in the past 25 years.

I think the famous line from the Usual Suspects fits this narrative that you see from some fans: "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."

Snyder hired RR to be a fall guy, a patsy, to get people distracted from all the shit he did to undermine the team on and off the field. And it worked.

If I could grab a beer with 10 people in the world currently alive, John Keim would absolutely be one of them. He has been covering the team forever, he would probably have some wild af stories (most of them probably bad, but probably lots of truly awesome ones too).

Sorry, but "Riverbloat Ron" was a mediocre (at best) coach, and a terrible GM. I don't blame it ALL on Snyderly Whiplash.

Yes, you can blame it all on Snyder, since he hired RR who was a mediocre coach and a terrible GM. See how easy it is?
My big question is why the franchise hasn't purged the team of the widely detested Snyder name yet.
Because the name is not a Snyder name. The name change happened during a time when Snyder was too busy gutting the team for money and basically committing fraud.

Whether people like it or not, the name Redskins has become more associated with Snyder than Commanders. I dare say that now the Commanders name is more associated with Harris and the new regime.

A severe case of revisionist history there. :saywhat:

The name is 100% Snyder, hand-picked by the little commandant himself.

I see your point, but I honestly never though about the correlation until now. Feel it'd more of a hassle to change it. Commanders and unis are cool. We have bigger fish to fry at this point. I want continuity.

I believe you're in the strong minority here.

We need to fry that fish for the fish tacos we can hold in our helmet logo.
My big question is why the franchise hasn't purged the team of the widely detested Snyder name yet.
I still believe they will change it, but Harris said in January they have bigger issues - new FO (done), new coaching staff (done), clean up Snyder's mess (ongoing), new stadium (ongoing)
My hope is still that they announce a name change and the new stadium plans after the finish their playoff run this year.

Whilst most would love a name change, I do not foresee it ever happening. At least not back to the Skins. It is what it is, I've learned to deal with it. Never been that enamored with the Commanders, but again is what it is. Doesn't make me love the team any less.

As to the topic, I think Daniels can turn out to be a very good QB for us. Key will be for the fans and coaches alike, to be patient with him.

He has plenty of experience in college ball, is older than a normal rookie, and has crazy work ethic. Just can't see them rolling our Mariota week 1 but who knows.

funny you say that during the SB i tried imagine what it look like with Commanders plastered everywhere , i was just thinking it would look stupid

Commanders is so just a random name that like yahoo fantasy sports would assign your fantasy football team if you didn't pick a name or it be the name of a team in a unlicensed NES football video game

To me its just so generic and nothing behind it; its frustrating
