Keim wrote a great article about DQ's growth as a head coach.

https://www.fox5dc.com/news/rfk-bill-passes-senate-committee-vote RFK bill passes through Senate committee
So it says in that article:
BREAKING: With blessing of Montana Senator Steve Daines, Senate committee votes to move forward with bill to transfer former RFK Stadium parcel to District of Columbia. Fox 5 DC. Daines says he expects Washington Commanders to uphold its commitments to “restore the logo to prominence”. Bill must still pass the full Senate by December.
Question. So how do they "restore the logo to prominence"? |
Re: 2024 Commanders Season Thread (General)
So it says in that article:
Question. So how do they "restore the logo to prominence"?
Probably a legacy section in the stadium and website. Much like they did for DG28 and will do for ST. Regardless of the future I think you will slowly see them re-integrate the Redskins legacy including ways of honoring the native americans who found honor through the team.
So it says in that article:
Question. So how do they "restore the logo to prominence"?
This happened in September https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/09/17/commanders-logo-stadium/ So I would assume it has something to do with the change of heart from Daines. I wouldn’t be surprised if the ownership has negotiated other aspects with the senators from Montana as well |
This happened in September https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2024/09/17/commanders-logo-stadium/
So I would assume it has something to do with the change of heart from Daines. I wouldn’t be surprised if the ownership has negotiated other aspects with the senators from Montana as well
he said yesterday that he voted yes because the team committed to bringing the logo back to prominence and that had they not he would have vote no. They could have just lied. but If they committed to that, prominence means front and center, the main logo. Nothing else would be prominent by definition of the word. Hence my questioning what that really means. Maybe just a big logo on the new stadium and a native American history museum there or something. Who knows. What i do know is Commanders does not work with that logo. |

Dallas has a long injury report and could be down their 2 starting guards (among others): https://www.dallascowboys.com/team/injury-report/
Bland will be back for them, though. Need to have our running game dominate and open up some downfield shots. |

Ugh that 96 team, started 7-1 and finished 9-7. So disappointing. That was the last year at RFK too.

Looking at the back end of that schedule the travel was brutal.
